A question about the day 1 patch

I know there's a 10gb day 1patch, but will we be able to play the game while it downloads?

If not that's a bit crummy.

You'll not be able to access network required content, which will be most of the game..

From what I see you can have a limited selection from the Arcade mode. As you also cannot save the game, you cannot make any progress to unlock levels in arcade mode either.

This is not a game to own if you have no internet connection!

Thanks. Yeh I'll probably play the limited offline and then download the patch while I'm asleep.
