A question on the collectors and signature edition with reguards to the bonus cars

Hey, sorry guys if this has been mentioned before, I want to avoid movement on the forum to avoid seeing 'spoilers' , the cars with the signature and collectors edition, are they locked to the profile or are they avalible across all of them? My brother and I use two different profiles, if I were to activate on mine, would he also get it? I have a blu ray copy of Prologue, but if anyone downloaded it from the PS Store, did it work only on the profile you got it on? Or on others as well? That might just be the answer to the bonus cars question.
 
Depends on what PD decide to do. When I buy map packs for Cod they work on all of my accounts.
 
It's almost definitely locked to a profile. Black ops map packs are a different story. The cars would be the same as those pre order guns they did for COD or MOH or whatever it was.
 
I know in terms of Bad Company2. It came with with a 'vip code' that was locked to the profile, so we bought another vip code from the PS Store and that one said it can be activated on 3 profiles? So..mixed messages from the games industry..
 
Yeah every company does things differently so you'll just have to wait and see I guess..
 
If it IS locked to 1 profile, I foresee an annoying (but potentially effective) work-around for your situation: just trade the cars back-and-forth with each other whenever one of you wants/needs one.
 
You might be able to use it on any profile. You can on XBox 360 with Forza 3

Can anybody please confirm. I use two IDs to race, my main PSN account and my GTP account, I'm very interested to know the answer to this question.

I cant answer the original question. My gues it it is posibel to use them on every account you have on your PS3. As this is the case with DLC, and games bought fromthe PSN store.

But I can tell you that its not posibel to transfer 1 save game from PSN ID 1 to PSN ID 2. You will therefore have to play the whole game on both account to acumulate cars, cash, and unlock the game for each induvidual PSN ID.
