ASM & TCS will never work on Rally Track's !

Without TCS the Start-Lap with Xara, is a little Problem .
I tried the Xara too :lol:

By the Way, I had a new best T1 : 0.07.967 :eek:

And it isnt the Xara :rolleyes:

Almost 2 years I've owned the "Game" & never realized "ASM" & "TCS" were NOT an option for Rallye Cars! :banghead:

Save the Xsara for a hot lap run UB! I tried to tell you in the 1st warm-up race that TCS doesn't work with Rally cars but you weren't listening so I gave up trying...

Good work man ... that bend 1 lap 2 is pretty much make or break for your race

I DID listen..and swapped over to AT for Rallye as per your suggestion as well!!! Although I didn't explain it well, I was wondering if I had a "Glitch" in my Game since I wasn't able to even "Try" TCS w/ARCADE Rallye Ride. Had NO Idea you couldn't use ASM or TCS in Arcade Rallye, but I KNOW now!
P.S. I would NEVER seriously consider using the Xsara in an Arcade race where you have to "Launch" it...I was just trying to "Hide" the identity of the Ride I'm REALLY using. :lol:

Okay... so maybe this conversation I eagerly await isn't coming right away and I don't have to actually sit here in anticipation the rest of the night... :lol:

It's just that I cannot begin to tell you how many times I thought I heard somebody say something... changed the way I do things and discovered they were right in what I thought I heard them say... Then when I got the opportunity to talk to them and thank them for that significant effect in my life at some later time... They look at me with the weird face and say, "I never said that... I was saying something entirely different."

Now... I digress a bit but...

For my new "Secret Weapon"!!! (In a Chart I posted during my Diablo Series, GT3mich said he used AT w/his MOMO for Rallyes.) I just gave it a try & within 5 Laps w/NO other adjustments ran:

T1 = 8.403
T2 = 27.231
T3 = 48.233
Final = 1'16.252

Was able to run a coupla more in the 1'16.4xx range so am sure it wasn't a "Fluke." After this thunderstorm passes over I think I'll try "AT" w/the 375HP Version Thanx Again...UB57

I must have miss typed that

I never run Rally with AT. Every gear change costs time and you just don't want the gear box driving the car. What a disaster.

I'm not so sure about "disaster"... Heck, according to UB's posts here, he says it's giving him faster times... Team Old Skool is OK with either of it's twain gettin' faster by whatever means.

Actually... Sometimes I'm faster with AT than I am with manual... (Although it seems at no time am I faster than some of you guys :lol:

) car/setup/track/driverstyle??? Who knows??? I suppose the answer to that is in the statistics and it appears the fastest mostly all run manual.

I know for me, if I don't know a tracks lines very well... I get faster faster :confused:

Regardless of how you say this though lotus, it still looks to me like you're on the track ahead of the phattboy... sigh... again

I've committed to not watching my first lap times and deciding whether to run out the second lap based on that. If I tell myself I'm working on the second lap times then it is only by default I run the first lap

It's kinda like my philosophy toward making money in real life... I've now switched to working on my second million dollars because everyone who has actually achieved that status always says, "the second million is a lot easier to get." :lol:

I'll get back to that first one later :rolleyes:

I'm a newbie in the dirt, so I know I'm 'snake bit' here.

I can figure how to go 8.1's @ T1.....but how the heck do you go 26's @ T2 and 46's @ T3 ..???????

Must be a 'dirty' little secret cause nobody told me how to do that! :odd:

Well, for me at least, it means about 200,453,254 t-1 times in the 8.1 mark to get to 26.big t-2 and I think about that many more 8.1/26.big t-1/t-2 times to get then to the 46.whatever t-3 time :lol:
