I must be the only one in here who doesn't like Swiss Alps either direction. For the phattboy it is a :banghead: Doh! :banghead: No make that three! :banghead:

this is not looking good for Team Old Skool
 
It's a pity Swiss Alps is addictive !

Admittedly, I dont like Tahiti Circuit :banghead: :lol:

An extra dose of Geritol, a green tea enema, some reruns of the 'Ted Mack Amateur Hour' and then....go back at it! Sometimes a little break works wonders!

Well, I finally got a reasonable time in for the 'Weekly Race series' (S2000 LM maxed-out @ Tokyo II) so I guess I need to start playing in the dirt again.

Actually, about 50 years ago, I used to like playing in the dirt,....and eating it....."man, I just couldn't get enough of it.":D

But, now.....I must have O.D'ed on it because 'dirt racing' makes me puke. I don't even like walkin' in dirt anymore!:irked:

So.....all that to say, "I stink in the dirt"! There's no polite way to say it.:O :D

I hope I'm as good at anything when I'm old enough to join the club UB57.....:)

Well, I've been slip, sliding away for quite awhile now....I think I'm going to save a run and take my chances.....hopefully I'm not dead last!

I've been able to run these Race sector times:

Lap 1: T1=14.291....T2=33.013...T3=53.716

Lap 2: T1= 8.239....T2=27.401....T3=48.116

Unless I figure out something new......I'm not going to get much faster at this.:banghead: :D
 
don't feel bad emp. i'm not getting anywhere near where i want to be. infact i hav'nt done a lap the last two days out of sheer disgust. think i'll save the car i'm running for later and just lay down on the tracks this round. either way i'm not even getting a whiff of the top 5.

nah, i'm abandoning my plan of running a really fast car here. i'd rather run a crap car and finish 13th instead of burning a fast car and finishing 9th. either way, this is my biggest faliure in years. there's no way i should be a second off after 40 laps on a track. that's just not right :'(

but then again, rally being my achilles heel is part of the reason for my participation 👍

With that speed I only need another 24 days to reach my target of 1 second. :lol:

Just like that Niels! That's why I'm submitting my time tonight, 'cause I can't see myself running any faster like I did in last week, and no way any +50 laps is gonna change that! :irked:

Anyway I put in enough laps in this rally, let's hope it's gonna turn out right! ;)

Had fun trying but I agree with ya Venom and Hucker... can't seem to better my time... so I'm done too...:D

I know I had a lot of smokin' first laps and a lot of smokin' second laps but sheesh! Couldn't marry two of 'em up for nothing...

Nice choice of races Mr. P!!! Really challenging for a newbe!!! I submitted my time via email.


Just for grins I went to just run a regular race in the game... This is definately improving me!!! Had to throw off a bunch of equipment just to help the AI keep anywhere close:cool:

did a coupla schit races to get my schit time tonight. i was crap so after torturing myself the first few days i took the rest of the week off. polishing a turd will do only so much to make it attractive.

PostScript: for those of you who i beat this round inspite of my endless pissing and moaning about how crap i am, don't forget how many miles i've put on this game and who i compare myself to. it's all relative. hope everybody had a better time on this round then i. i'm just glad i came to my senses and saved that faster car for later. see you all in switzerland.
