The S.O.D Killa Rally Team & Side Show has just pulled into Tahiti II

There is great disappointment on the teams faces because it looks like all the sod around here has already been killed.

Well, we'll run our car anyway. :trouble:

Ran a little while.....had the radio on, wasn't focusing 100%, but we were able to get a sense of the track.

I keep thinking I'm running in deep wet beach sand....it really messes with my mind. Oh, well.

T1=27.138

T2=59.938

Now, we're only 2 seconds plus out of contention. :rolleyes:

Not by a looonnng shot there Emp... There is like two or three races going on here at the same time

Besides... here is the tip of the day:

Have a distracting casual conversation with your son (or someone) about how school is going and things whilst running a few haphazard laps and waiting for the dinner bell to ring. Then wait for your son (who, being bored with what you're saying, is watching the race even though you really aren't) to say, "Geez Dad, you might want to save that last lap."

Your attention snaps back to the screen and you exclaim, "Huh, what?"

Looking at the replay you realize you just unwittingly ran a T1/T2 of 26.7/ 58.6 and the dang thing is clean as a whistle. Hands shaking now, you pray you find the save and not the start cause this is faster by a considerable amount of your last dismal showing.

Couldn't begin to tell you how I got there..., the dinner bell rang (in the form of my wife's voice) and I haven't gotten back to see what I did right. :lol:

My family is very capable of causing the proper distraction.
Youngest son jumping like a rubber-ball in front of the telly.
Wife shouting: God damn. I'm talking to you. What did i just tell you?
Oldest son attacking me from behind just to prove, he can beat his old pop.

You are still faster than before though and if you did it once... you can do it again.

As for giving chase... YOU'RE my best bet:

I hate to point out the obvious here Niels but if decent T1 times make you drive like a drunk on the rest of the lap, THEN STOP LOOKING AT T1 TIMES

Yeah, don't I know about all the distractions, kids, wife, and other offenders who think there is something seriously wrong with us.

Luckily, when you enter a 'virtual world' you can adopt an altered ego that commands a 'virtual realm' defined by the space you and your equipment occupy, enforced by 'pain of death' to all who dare intrude or distract.....it's up to you how 'real' your 'virtuallity' may become.

I my case, as an 'Emperor' who rules over a jade enriched kingdom where countless children, wives, concubines, and other subjects respect the sanctity of my 'virtual realm' and dare not breach its boundaries......a more pure transcendental utopionic environment can be assured.

The exception to the order of such a perfect realm, are inept mechanics, irritating cars and tracks, and grossly deficient skills. :odd:
