Because everybody expects to drive it during the warm-up race on Beginner's Course :D

I thought best to put it back to May to get some other events out of the way and plenty of advance knowledge is usually best for drivers! If the majority would prefer an earlier start date then we can easily bring it forward to March or April? :cool:

I'm all for moving this forward, cause if we wait until May to start, I fear the grande finale is gonna collide with my summer holiday plans. :(

But more important:
We got an impressive list of very cool car, just waiting to get fired up. 👍
The list of interested drivers is equally impressive. 👍
We have had two great warm-up races. 👍​

Can we please get this rolling? :D

I agree also and looking at starting ARCIV on April the 1st when warmup race 2 concludes 👍 I will edit post 1 accordingly when we see more opinions and thoughts on this date change!

Heres how the voting went in the car selection poll! and the first 7 cars definitely make it into the comp .... Voting is over btw 👍

edited in car 8 with a first reply choice of 3 cars with 9 votes each and Flat-out chose the Stratos ;)
 
Lancia Stratos Rally Car '77, since it's the only one among those 3 that I voted for.

But since I'm a privileged guy who can choose a car every week, perhaps you should ignore my reply and take the next one :p

Looks like a great list of cars there, nice job voting guys 👍. I was worried we might see all WRC cars but that didnt happen.

Yep : 4 WRC, 2 Group B, 1 Group A and 1 Group 4.
Pretty well balanced IMO.
Will the races last 2 weeks like the warm-ups (warms-up ?) or only one week ?

Each race will last 1 week and 8 weeks in total 👍 hopefully the interest can survive that long :p

Any chance of replacing the Hyundai with the Lancia Delta S4 (since we're driving the Hyundai now, and there's already a Subaru rally car)?

That would then make it all 3 Lancia's :p I'm sure we can find a manufacturer that hasn't been used to replace the Hyundai ... If the worst came to the worst!

I like the Hyundai personally and would like to use it again :sly: ... but I always go with the majority on decisions 👍
 
There is no Peugeot, only one Mitsu and already 2 Lancias.
I think that the list if fine as it is.

...and I can always use the Lancia S4 in the WRS if you want it so much Luxy (;))
 
These manufacturers have not been used in warm up or made the cut for the comp ...

The nissans look good to me :)

If everyone's happy with the Hyundai, that's cool with me :) I actually quite like it, just thought the extra variety would be nice.

I don't have any particular interest in the Lancia S4 (I didn't notice that it'd make 3 lancias :guilty: ), I had just mentioned it because the S4 and the subaru prototype were the other two cars that had 9 votes.
 
I would have liked to see another dirt race but it's fine either way. Can't wait to get started :D

I've tried to convince some old dudes to take part in ARC, but they seem to be too busy and stuff, well I tried to get them running ARC, but they all busy and stuff.

Anyway, always better to invite some old rally kings, the shame old rally dudes wont feel like running ARC. (No Names) ****..

Too bad..
