Say, is there any way to mininse a picture in photo editor to conform with the avatar limits (pixel size and byte size) without distorting the picture. Usually the picture gets all jaggered when you minimise it. Is there a better way of doing it??

thanks;)

I think Photoshop is good for this operation. Now I have never used the Photo editor so I can't really say if it is a better program.

Post the picture and I'll give it a try.

Any image editor is good for resizing an image (MSPaint excluded).

I think sometimes it depends on the picture, I have pictures that are the same size but some get jagged when I downsize them and some don't, I believe it is just the picture. (Although a good photoshop might help)

Are you keeping the pixel aspect ratio the same?

In the Image Resize window look for something along the lines of Constrain Proportions or Lock Apect Ratio.
