The Focus RS WRC 07 rally car made this too easy. Didn't tune it except to set the trans to 162mph and full downforce. IM tires. It's going to be fun because there are so many choices of cars.

ouch, this is way too long.. will doze off along the way..
bring out Rally Cars, it's a whole month of perfecting Torque Split.

was browsing car to use in almost 20mins.. picked up the BTCC Romeo 155; suprise to see another Romeo on board! accidentally #2 on the first trial

Took out the '03 Wedsport Celica, won pretty easy with this. Gap ended up being 8 seconds, but should have been larger since I didn't tune correctly for the straight.

I started with the NSX LM Race Car since it popped up first. I thought about changing the aerodynamics but left them both low. Put on HW tyres and it was a disaster: the rear slid almost everywhere.

Assuming the problem was the RWD in the wet, I wanted a 4WD and changed to the '95 Celica Rally Car (ST205). Kept HW tyres on this too, but turned the down force all the way up at the front and almost all the way up at the rear. This managed to win moderately easily.

I have not experimented with any tyres other than heavy wets yet though.

Slayed this event with the mazda rx7 gt300 base model. I even spun out and braked extra early on the last kinks and still had a almost 5 second lead. Also will post tune for anyone who needs it.

Huh, u should post ur tune at least as backup, coz ur PS3 might crash anytime, and u lose every single tunes. u can buy a new copy of GT6 and new PS3. but the tunes.. Priceless :)

because, even the best tuner in here can give us the best time tune.. but, is it the best tune that really suits u?

I use the Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 on Racing Soft Tyres, I won by over 12 seconds using my wheel and I am still working on the gears to get it right but the gears below are good enough for me to win.

Sure Power this one! Gonna save it First!

Yup. the gears in 155 is a little complicated, the 4th - 6th Gear easily lose torque. Look at the standard gear ratio; it's literally "jump" from 2nd gear to 3rd gear! Powerband is like ASSISSTED kind of VTech or anything..

This one is going to be good :mischievous:, there are many cars I'm going to try with this event. The first car I used was a Impreza GT300 Base Model '08, the tune I used belongs to @lisanorm and here is the link for it. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-hatch-gp-circuit.322932/page-2#post-10402167
I switched the tires to Racing Intermediate and removed all the power upgrades and set power limiter to 95.1, the transmission has to be tweaked a bit due bouncing off the limiter, I lost some time there because of it. Overall it handled very nicely.

I'll have to give it a try, I use a wheel as well. :)

Please tell me, what do you think of the Gears when you try the car out because I am :nervous:.

The delta s4 rally car is here a fast car. Drives very smooth and stable. Ran a 8min 18sec without pushing the car. I use steering, tc1 and line suggestion.:nervous:

Well, I ran it twice because I had Racing Intermediate tires on it he first time around. I think you did a good job on it :D:tup:. The gears seemed a little long, but once I drove it more it worked well. With the racing soft tired I did a 8:28.xxx with 2-3 spin outs and still won by 18+ seconds, under heavy braking the car did tend to get light in the rear which caused me to spin once and the AI decided to pit me . With Intermediate tires the car felt easier to control and I had to wrestle the wheel less, I managed a 8:23.771 and no runoffs. Also the only driving AIDS I used were driving line and ABS: 1.

Am I supposed to use Intermediate or Heavy Wets here?

I used the Ford RS200 but I cheated with 200kg ballast to get max power out of it. The Ring is a power circuit.

Honda Integra Type R (DC5) Touring Car with oil change and engine stage 3 but no turbo. Used the GTTCC Season 6 setup by @TNR_KING_FILO with slightly less extreme brake bias and slightly taller Final Drive.

340bhp, 950kg, 495pp on Heavy Wet tyres. The track was 100% wet start to finish and fairly dark, even though it's 3pm and all the trees have leaves.

A lot of wheel slip under power in gear 2 and 3. Never used gear 1. Tickling the throttle (DS3 trigger R2) helped that, rather than using Traction Control (TCS). Half braking and gentle turning into high speed corners was important - possibly more rear downforce would be worthwhile.

Always like to find an FF that can win. This wasn't easy but I beat the leading Opel Calibra Super Touring Car 1994! Cr1,100,000 prize money in 8 minutes 4 seconds.

Overtook the Calibra on the way onto the long final straight. It didn't take my slipstream but still went past as the road started to climb. I immediately got back into its slipstream. Got half a metre gap just before the bridge so I could pull across onto the racing line. Very careful braking in 3 separate phases from here to the tight right. Nearly overshot the last turn but the Calibra had bottled it through those final sweeping turns.

Surprisingly fun combination thanks to the interesting choice of AI competition.

This is a very stable tune.
For DS3 i changed the tires to Intermediate for the rain
Brakebalance 9/7
LSD
10/8
14/12
8/8
made up my own gearbox that's close to your values, only final gear set to 3.100
But that causes a very late gearchange from 4th to 5th (6th gear is not reached)
Topspeed maxes out at 247KMH

Handles very good, i could recover nice when i got off track a bit, first nurburg race in the rain where i did not get a 360 spinout when the car touched the grass.

Thanks for that about my tune , I am going to try Intermediate tyres tomorrow and as @SilverSE102 mention in his post to he liked Intermediate tyres on the car as well because it car felt easier to control.

I did not try the Race Soft, On light cars they work well, but only when the weather changes, on Nurburg i do not take that chance.
My guess is that you will like the car more with Intermediate tires.
The first Alfa tune in my carlist, thank you for that.

Used the Escort Rally car on HW tyres,

First setup was a bit stiff in the rear and spun it about 4 times, lost by 2 sec

softened it up, dropped some rear brake and tweaked the LSD.
easy 10sec win

Will go for intermediate and less downforce

Managed a 7:59 on my second run.

BMW 320i Touring Car with stage 3 turbo, 60kg ballast and 115/230 aero. Oh, and HW tyres.

Tried with Lancia Delta Integrale rally with Exeter tune. Handled really well and very forgiving even when accelerating in the turns. Overtook all cars reasonably well before the long straight. Highly recommended!

Then tried my luck with a FF VW Scirocci GT 24. That was disaster as front wheels were dying for grips even with the slightest hint of accelerating. Still fun though as you listened to the persistent squeaky tires! :)

Gonna go with my pardner Fordy on this one as one G29 wheeler to another. Can't wait to try this out later tonight.

@SilverSE102 try these changes on that tune of mine

Body. 350/ 540 or less ballast 53@50 Power. 98.3% Diff. F 5/16/6 R 6/30/8 Spit 50:50

Susp. 75/75 min/min 2/2 3/3 6/ 6 0/0 0/0 Brakes 5/5 Tyres inters

Did lap time 7: 35 not total time

The 86 Audi Quattro Sport S1 does it pretty easy. Here's the thing that ***** me about this event.

The opponent clearly isnt using 500pp cars. More than a few times I'm sitting on 260km/h on the straight and this is all I can do... ie. 1,100kg cars with ~340hp are tapped out at that.

So I'm getting overtaken by the Cusco Impreza which at 500pp is only 300hp and 1,100kg.

What mad tune do you have that allows a 300hp car to overtake me? So actively block them.
