I used the Atenza touring car. Power updgrade to just under 500pp, added full downforce and tuned the lsd. On RS tires I passed the Calibra at the Caroussel. Im going to see if I can get this one down to 450pp or less and still win. I think the Elise is a stronger rabbit than the Calibra.

Man, what a fun drive! My favorite car on my favorite track, couldn't be better! Just grabbed my standard Elise, threw some heavy wet's on it, did 5 laps, loving every one. Definitely needs tweaking, top speed is like 140 mph

Don't flatter yourself @Kossie :D

Keep working down the PP ladder until it becomes hard. Much more fun than winning by a large margin. Or try different fields, some are way easier than others.
I know, But ''expert'' races must to be difficult with the best cars you can use. imo. Sambabus time? they must make a race sambabus :P

Extreme Satisfaction with Nissan Bluebird. I need a little more push..
Please help who can tune Super Gearbox :ouch:

Feels like "Like A Wind" Event, haha

Thanks. :D

RS tires are the way to go for me. Better than either wet tire, I believe.

2 secs better. Clean.

I want to move onto another car but I do love them Spoons.

Super great job!! Going to give it go as there is no Lotus that I do not love

I use the Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 on Racing Soft Tyres, I won by over 12 seconds using my wheel and I am still working on the gears to get it right but the gears below are good enough for me to win.

Used this tune to win by 22 seconds with one off. Knowing the track helps when you are blinded :-)

The 86 Audi Quattro Sport S1 does it pretty easy. Here's the thing that ***** me about this event.

The opponent clearly isnt using 500pp cars. More than a few times I'm sitting on 260km/h on the straight and this is all I can do... ie. 1,100kg cars with ~340hp are tapped out at that.

So I'm getting overtaken by the Cusco Impreza which at 500pp is only 300hp and 1,100kg.

What mad tune do you have that allows a 300hp car to overtake me? So actively block them.

Very Low Aero settings
Watch when they come to the fast corners, they can't get through them nearly as fast.

S2000 LM Race Car just nipped the Alfa Rabbit on the last corner, IM tires, 492 PP. 8:15 cruising pace for an Expert level.

This is a good tie - in with the upcoming Nurburgring 24 hr race. These 500 PP race cars are similar to SP3 ,4,5 classes, should've had the event on the 'V' track. Details PD, details! I know the boss is in Germany getting ready for a ride in a BMW M6 GT3/SP9 but just a little more cowbell needed.

Citroen Xara Rally Car 1999 is a hugely fun FF that I just remembered. Narrowly beat the Calibra Super Touring Car again. Should have increased Final Drive even more!

Tune was great on dry tarmac at 450pp. But there's a lot of wheelspin at 500pp on wet public roads. Will give it another go with a softer front and taller gears. Maybe more traction will help.

Haven't had a fast grid so far. Only run this event 5 times in total. Those fast times are scary. :nervous:

My second try was with a Citroen C5 & kept pretty much bone stock. Won by 12.5 seconds with RS tires...fun drive.

I've been running this nice tune tonight. I've gotten it down to 440pp and still getting the win. I had to lower the aero to minimum and even then it tops out at only 130mph. I had 8 seconds on the field at Doettinger-Hoehe and the gap had narrowed to a little over 2 seconds by the second bridge.
Nice! i dunno what it is about the intermediates but they seem the most stable between them and the heavy wet.
