Whats a good car to use for this race? I hear a 2J but I also heard its like 13.5million. Is there any other car cheaper to use that will win the event??

The Toyota 7 race car from winnning B Spec Like the Wind can do it, but it takes patience and a bit of luck with the AI.

Just buy a Premium 69' Camaro or 70' Challenger, go to GT AUTO and get an Oil Change and get the Racing Modification for either on, but before that, buy all the performance upgrades for it except the titanuim exhaust and full customize tranny,RM'ing a car automatically includes titanium exhaust, fully custom tranny, and lightens the car as well as improves the original brakes, then go buy racing soft tyres.

From there, tune your new cars settings as such:

Suspension: lower ride height to lowest setting

Transmission: set the top speed to around 175-180 mph,you wont b going too fast in the straits in this racing series as there is more tight cornering and blocking/overtaking, so lowering the top speed will have much quicker gearing to keep up,(in fact you can probably lower it to 165!)

Engine Upgrades: any upgrades you installed before the race mods will be unequipped such as a stage 3 engine upgrade, supercharger, sport manifold etc. so re-equip your previous parts and equip your racing soft tyres.

The 69' Camaro should make around 535 HP, where the 70 Challenger makes 760 HP! that should beat the series easily as long as you block that Chapperal 2J! There's no need to buy a insanley expensive historic race car

Hope this helps!👍

I won one race in my 69 Camaro. I'm working on the other with the Challenger because it has more power.

I won both with fully modified Lamborghini Countach, the one that you get from (Gallardo?) event. It was quite tough but I didn't have resources to get any better car..

For deep forest I used a Toyota 7 (fully upgraded) and for the monaco circuit I used a Chaperall 2J (fully upgraded) this combination even worked with BOB behind the wheel for B-spec.. :)

You wont be able to do this unless you have something along the lines of a Toyota 7 or Chaparral 2J. Its possible with the Jaguar XJ13 but it costs 20mil and you dont get it until one of the bspec endurances, so your better off getting the toyota 7 or chappa.

I did it with a race modified and fully upgraded Camaro 1969

I've never done a B-Spec endurance. I have a XJ13. Don't remember where it came from. You can probably find out in the FAQ section of the forum.

Anyway, just trade with someone for a 2J.

Tried out the Shelby and the Z28 and the corvette all no bueno, anything tht can remotely come close thats not a 20 mil car

Fair Trader not calling you a liar but no freakin way the corvette did it if so...
Im begging for your specs

It was a camaro too not a corvette ;).

And yeah, i honestly dont believe that.

lol, your just jealous I said to use the Toyota 7 & 2J just before you did :sly:👍

And I say "video or it never happened" to the camaro winning that event...

Hahahaha :P. I think anybody would know that after trying to do this race on bspec in a car other than those ;). Bob is hopeless against them, took me a few tries with my XJ13 but he finally did it ;)

I had HUGE trouble with this and simply left it i did one of the endurance races and got a Jaguar XJ13 then I got used to the car. From there it was very easy to win

Just done it first time with the Toyota. Piece of cake, it just sticks to the road.

Didn't want to tune my Lambo for it so something more race ready was needed.

Bones whats up with the countach specs

just max it out with every tuner part. I went a few ticks down on ride height and a few ticks up on spring rate. Messed with gear ratios a little and that was it.

The only trick is to not lose the lead once you get it. Its not hard to get into 1st on the first lap or two, but if the fan car overtakes you it will pull away. get in the lead, be clean and you'll be fine. 👍

EDIT: oh, and its really important to get the wing and tune the downforce. its pretty much inpossible without it.
