I've done A-Spec with XJ-13 and B-Spec with Toyota 7.
My bob overtook the 2J on the last lap in Monaco, I jumped and screamed to joy!!!

Camaro??

There is an LM spec Camaro in the game so its possible I'd say but for sure, the RM version is not fast(and I cant upgrade my motor past stage one for some reason), the stock ZR-1 will beat it.

i am so glad this wasnt just me!! max out the tuning and drive super aggressive and then super defensive. i saved the reply coz its so cool :P possibly my best race..

nope, looks like we're up to 3 votes for the Countach. i agree, it was an epic win. :sly:

You wont be able to do this unless you have something along the lines of a Toyota 7 or Chaparral 2J. Its possible with the Jaguar XJ13 but it costs 20mil and you dont get it until one of the bspec endurances, so your better off getting the toyota 7 or chappa.

don't listen to this guy..all you need is a RM camaro,a little bit skill, and for the 2J to start atleast 5th place or worse..but it still won't be easy

I've never done a B-Spec endurance. I have a XJ13. Don't remember where it came from. You can probably find out in the FAQ section of the forum.

Anyway, just trade with someone for a 2J.

You get the Jag XJ13 in A-Spec winning the Indy 500. Then you just need to add Soft Racing Tires and you're set to win this event quite easily. This is what I did.

I did it with a XJ13 with the turbo upgrade. It was fun as hell. BTW you get the xj from the indy 500 a spec

X2

another vote for the jag, i too got it from indy endo (aspec), i only used the second turbo as i thought the biggest one might have been too powerful for the car and type of track

those two historical races were two of the best ones so far, raced my nuts off to keep the chapperells off my arse,

at monaco i had a chapperell and a toyota race car infront of me at the start, i managed to get in front of them at the first corner but knew i had to put a couple of cars inbetween me and them so i came out of the first real slow and let a jag and 67 ford pass me, booted it and caught the 67 ford at the next braking point, passed it the chased down the 2nd jag while my tyres had max grip, i was expecting the chapperel or toyota to catch up again but it couldn't get passed the ford, my fight was with the other jag, i had a shorter box so i could just keep out of reach comming out of the corners faster
a real punch in the air when i won monaco,
a few attempts earlier and once the others got by it was no chance of catching them

its a real shame the historical wasn't a full championship, great racing and a great power match up
i'm glad i waited till i had a proper classic to do this race

come on poly, give us more like this !!!

just max it out with every tuner part. I went a few ticks down on ride height and a few ticks up on spring rate. Messed with gear ratios a little and that was it.

The only trick is to not lose the lead once you get it. Its not hard to get into 1st on the first lap or two, but if the fan car overtakes you it will pull away. get in the lead, be clean and you'll be fine. 👍

EDIT: oh, and its really important to get the wing and tune the downforce. its pretty much inpossible without it.

It also helps to make sure you start ahead of the Chapparal 2J and Toyota 7 race cars. Once those cars got ahead of me (I used the Countach), I could not catch them no matter what. If they are ahead of you in the starting order, exit out of the race and try again. It took about 10 tries, but eventually they were behind me. The Chapparal tried to pass me on Lap 5 on the last straight of Deep Forest, but I blocked him out and got the win.

at deep forset, the jag with the medium turbo was faster than the chapperell and toyota, i was able to out brake them and pull away very easily

at monaco you have to get infront of them fast
