Not a lot of 500pp race cars are there? Megane was good enough to best s Lancia and Audi rally cars. 1:25.0 lap average.

I had fun with the TVR Tuscan Touring Car, was in front towards the end of lap 3, easy enough really.

I took out my rarely used BMW 320i Touring Car '03 and had a fun race. I maxed out the downforce, but I don't think that was necessary. I think that made my top end suffer. I'll run this race again with this BMW at a later date and lower the downforce to check. I took the lead easy enough on the 3rd lap, but the RSC Rally Raid Car kept flying right up to my rear bumper -- and giving me love taps from behind -- on the back straight across the starting line. I only won by 0.443s...

Used the Lexus IS350 GT300 Base Model '08. Added some ballast to get it down to the PP cap (and balance out the weight distribution a bit). Didn't really do much other than add some downforce (though maxing the downforce was a mistake) and tweaking the transmission. Took me three tries, but the Lexus pulled it off for me!

I made the same mistake with maxing out the downforce of my BMW 320i Touring Car. Definitely didn't need it. How do you like the Lexus IS350 GT300? I've been wanting to add another GT300 car to my stable. Looking for opinions on different models. I know the specs are so close on each car, but there must be differences in the stock performance of each GT300.

That little Lexus is pretty good straight out the box. Really neutral handling as I remember, it's been a while since I drove it stock mind you. The Impreza GT300s are pretty good too if you've not tried them.

Thank you. I have not tried the Impreza GT300 either. I'll give them both a look. 👍

Got me a new Nissan Silvia C-west RAZO
Oilchange and got 497pp
Stock suspension
stock gearbox
Brakebalance 7/3
LSD 10/18/25
Downforce 250/500
Got first in lap 3

Bought Giulia TZ2 65 for this and it was a lovely drive. The Delta S4 was overtaking me almost every straight but it was no match in the corners. 10 million well spent :D
I'm thinking about buying this car. I've watched a couple of youtube videos and the engine seems to have a cool sound to it. I'm using my Ferrari GTO for this race now and only managed second so far. The engine sound on that one is a lot to be desired though...

Used my CR-Z Touring Car with the High RPM Turbo. 497PP and it's pretty easy, the Delta S4 is a rocket in a straight line but you always pull away through the corners.

So, I'm bombing around the Forest in my GT300s and I can't help but notice the HPA R32, Art Morrison Vette and the G37 in the race. I don't recall tuners bring allowed before...cool!

Off to the garage I go and get in my Opera S2K was told I was switching to SS tyres as I don't have RH, thought hmm...ok and went on to win the race and beat my best GT300 lap by almost a second. How good is that car?!

Best seasonal event ever! Very fun setup and track. Also happy to find an excuse to use my NSX LM... although it was overkill.

Seems decent (though it sounds rather terrible). I spun once with it before I adjusted the LSD to my preferences, though. But I'm a terrible driver, so bear that in mind. :)

I bought it as my GT300 car for the "career" GT300 event (can't remember if it was iB or iA). Worked well for that, but that event wasn't enormously challenging, either.

Oh, I forgot to mention that my first two attempts were with a manual transmission since I wanted to play around with my new G27's shifter paddles. :) My laptimes were definitely better after I reduced the downforce, tweaked the LSD, and switched back to automatic transmission.

Good idea with the 320i Touring Car... Think I`ll buy one and use it too..

I did it with my beloved Lexus IS200GT Race Car `04...The one driven by a Korean team...Always had a fetish for that car...But somehow it felt different in this race, not a pleasure to drive, as it used to...hmmm...It felt weirdly sloppy...Not as trustworthy as I remember...Some new driving physics in this race maybe??? Strange and annoying....looking forward to buy and try the 320i...thx for the idea...

Edit: Did another run in my Lexus IS200GT RC...The reason why it felt wrong, was that I didn`t notice I used the "B setting sheet" by mistake...Think that is for race softs on nurburg or just some experiment I did back in time, don`t recall...When I changed back to "A" sheet, it felt just as steady as always...whew...Had a good and clean fight with a Peugeot 205 racer for 1. - After I took lead, he came back, and did a clean innerside overtake on me after the straight. (Also because I let him do it, didn`t want to block him and risking being knocked off, and "replay-see-worthyness" ruined...An OK AI driver for once...I took finally lead a lttle later...

RH tires, 296hp, 208 lb/ft, 469pp, 892kg
oil change, chasis rigidity

RH: 120/115
spring rate: 8.75/7.25
D(comp): 6/5 D(ext): 5/6 ARB: 4/3
C: 0.5/1.0 T: -.04/0.07

B: 7/3

T:
set final to max, top speed to min (install all power parts first)
1: 3.740
2: 2.675
3: 2.070
4: 1.650
5: 1.255
set final gear to: 3.000

install: weight stage 3, every available power part (pp to max, weight to min).

set downforce to 135/250

I've been wanting to do something with this car since the grand canyon circuit in gt4. This car has a very good balance into corners with very mild understeer upon entry and slight oversteer out of corners. I am not totally satisfied with the transmission settings and I have been tinkering with the final drive. I did beat the Audi S1 by 0.239 seconds to get gold in the seasonal event at Deep Forest, however, so I know that it is a capable car for this event. If anyone has suggestions to improve this setup please comment. I use this car on a DS3 with controller sens. at 5.

This is also my very first completely original tune in gt6. I used the gt6 quick tune guide v4.3 as a base and made some tweaks from there. I'm really happy with the outcome but would love some feedback on how to make it better. I feel that one of the most neglected aspects of gt6 are the classic cars and the rally cars and would like to see more tunes available for those cars.

Cheers.

I won this one a Motorsport Elise (one of favorite cars). No tune against the Audi Quatrro by just over 1 second. Very easy drive. Had race transmission set to 162 MPH, stock race suspension settings. I haven't unpacked my wheel since I have been on the road a lot.

So, I decided to take out my BMW 320i Touring Car again and instead of running with maximum downforce I reset the downforce back to the stock levels. To be honest, I can't say that I noticed much of a difference. My victory was by about the same margin over the same AI cars. But, I do think the added downforce did help a little bit in the higher speed corners. So, I guess what I'm saying is, if you want to max out the downforce on this thing, I really don't think you'll be robbed of any top end speed. I guess I could go back and actually record what the maximum MPH I reach, but that doesn't really matter because the AI will just drive a little faster if you do... We all know how that works! :banghead:

If you have a Buttkicker, the TZ2 will KICK your butt.

Anyone else notice the Pozzi Camaro RS is the 1st car in the list of typical opponents.

For starters the game does not consider it a race car, when you try to use a car the list, then it has 522 PP stock, 529 with a oil change.
Then for icing on the cake, its on the grid:crazy: Along with the G37 and the Art 'Vette, Come on with the tease.

I try to have fun in my Camaro and I get the famous blink of red.

Thoughts?

Thanks for this tune. Had a great battle in the last two laps with the Audi rally car.

I used the S2000 LM Race car. It was fun that Delta S4 kept things close. He would always catch up on the straight always but I would pull awya in the corners. I'm tryi t with some of the cars mentioned in this thread.
