Makes me wonder if they based this off of anyone they knew.

These people ARE out there.. There's a guy at work who's kind of like that. He spends a "productive" weekend sitting in front of his PS2. On several occasions, he completely missed the presence of an extremely attractive receptionist walking down the hall, because he was caught up telling some Star Wars story or another. This was the same extremely attractive receptionist that I asked to the Christmas party.

Unfortunately for him, he's become the brunt of many jokes around the office. The problem is that he's completely unaware of it, even if we say something right in front of him.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd much rather spend an evening having dinner with a beautiful woman rather than playing games... I'd rather cuddle up on the couch with a beautiful woman watching a chick-flick than sitting there alone watching Star Trek or something. Granted, I'm a sci-fi fan, and a gamer... but you gotta have priorities, man.

The ladies come first, every time. :)

a lot of geeks and nerds know they are what they are and will most often be very proud of it. Scary as it sounds, it's true. I used to go to tournaments for Magic the Gathering. A lot of the guys there were in their 30s, married, and had kids (who also tagged along sometimes). Others were in their very late 20's, living with their parents, and basically the stereotypical geek.
