I just thought of this right now:
Since we can send cars to any PSN on our own Console, Perhaps you can create a "trade profile" that people on both ends can access. For example:
Say I (machate-man) want to send a FGT to a friend (Kevin). I can create a dummy account, give him the info to access the profile, send my car to that dummy account, then have my friend gift the car from the dummy account to his own.
It's a long process, but it may work:sly:

In short terms, You can use a dummy account as a Public Folder for your cars
*How-to list on post 5

*This is still being tested, so use with caution!*

Won't work. You can't send the car to anyone, even the ones who are sub-accounts to your own.

I just sent a Pagani Zonda R (2,000,000) to a seperate account on my own console:indiff:

That's odd. I did tests but I didn't look at that car specifically. I'll see what happens when I test that one.

See, ANY car can be sent, regardless of price, as long as it is on your console.

Anyway, here's an updated How-to list:
  1. Create trade account
  2. give info of trade account to the person you are trading with
  3. Send car to trade account
  4. have other person access trade profile and send car to his master account
  5. repeat for his/her end of the trade
  6. change info of trade profile to prevent interference
Hope this helps:scared:

Yea this just might work. I can see one problem though. Scamming is going to have much greater implications.

Tested and it wasn't allowed.

Perhaps a backup via USB would work, but then that would just lead most people to dupe... But it's better then losing cars, right?

I don't like this ban at all but i think we've all just got to accept it and stop trying to find ways around it. Once a new way is found PD will clamp down on it so why even bother?

what did you try?

I know that my HARD-EARNED X1 will permenantly lose power sooner or later, so it helps to be able to get another While still being able to have a life.
*I'm not trying to be mean, it's just the truth.

I tried sending a Zonda to people on my PS3. It doesn't matter where they are, the notification of "You Cannot Send this Car" appeared. What might have happened is that if you completed a trade already the "banned" message would appear. I'm going to assume that you didn't make a trade yet and they allowed you one trade. See what happens when you select the Zonda again to try to gift it.

How could anyone access your "trade account"?

Wouldn't they still need a game save to access the data, not just the PSN ID?

Has anyone tried sending X2010 Tickets? I'm talking about the green tickets you get from the challenge not white tickets which are obtained from turning a car into a ticket.

Cars Gifted remain on the profile, much like how there will be a cue on your PM's; they will remain until you deal with them.

I see. So they would essentially log in to your account, and 'intercept' the gift, before you actually receive it.

I see this working between friends because a complete trade to both sides will take 2 days. This is great if it works.

It's a gameshare..I've done it with friends and my stealth codes....but the receiever has to set up an account using your prexisting PSN ID....pretty involved...

Lol, the "good old" illegal and dangerous game sharing is back thanks to PD and their stupid updates. Good work PD!!! This is everything but user friendly 👎:yuck:👎

PD are only trying to stop everyone duping the expensive cars, they made them so expensive to make them rare.

I'm happy they put the limit in. give people something to try and work to instead of just swapping cars.
If you can't be bothered to play the game and win the cars then you shouldn't have them.

PD have done a great job with this game and all people can do is moan about it.

It's a brilliant game. Go play it instead of trying to work out how to dupe the 1 mil+ cars.

I got no problem with the 1 million dollar car trade limit but 1 trade per PS3 a day that is ridiculous......3 years of trading to get all the cars. Guess they want to ensure it gives them time to create GT6 :(

Gifting tickets is still possible, but I'm not sure if you can send an x2010 gift ticket

Then they would have to put a trade time limit to 1 car every 2 days and that would only make it 6 years!
Going with PD's record I wouldn't be surprised if they finished GT6 in 8. LOL
This time around they'll have 600 premiums and 1500 standards AND double the menus of gt5!

I can't wait... then again if 8 years does happen I would probably jump ship waaaay before then. 💡

Ever thought about actually buying some cars from the dealership or UCD???
1 Trade per day sucks but there are other ways to get cars other than trading.

You know you can get more than 1 car in a day? I don't see the issue here.

I'm well aware you can buy cars from ucd and ocd but I personally enjoyed the trading aspect of the game. Trading one car per ps3 in my opinion SUCKS and thanks PD

Personally, since I suspected sooner or later there will be a strong limitation about trading, I sent most of different tickets I collected all in one single alternate account. Even one T1000 ticket and various birthdays gift (2010, 2009 and many more) are stored here. Then, once a day, I keep sending to my main account one of these tickets and voilà...

I have one question perhaps: from the T1000 ticket can be dropped a FGT or an X2010? Just for my personal curiosity, since I'm quite lucky to already have various copies of these cars.

Another thing: buying cars from UCD isn't so hard - keeping out the 2+ million vehicles from this discussion for a moment - just keep on grinding and often with "just" 500k you can buy various low-level cars meanwhile in order to reach the monstrous total of 1041 different vehicles (can't remember exact total, sorry if I'm wrong). This means there's no point on saying "this requires me 3 years" etc, since only a few of the total car amount are really long-grind requiring...

For the aficionados of X2010: I put one X1 carbon and one Vettel's online from that alternate account, used really hard the first of these for various B-Spec races and, yes, no consumption no power loss on vehicle when checked on original owner's account. Basically now I have my X1 and some "external" copies of them. Anyway, I prefer just to race and do some plain b-spec or a-spec with my friends. Some of really rare cool cars (the Jag X13) are quite easy to obtain in game, not mentioning that already well-known birth glitch.
