AAAARRRGGHHH plz help ME!!!!

everytime i do a race online and i mean every time it will always disconnect me unless i make my own room does this happen to any one else

Same its been happening to me recently. After v1.08 it started to disconnect me from the server about 30 secs after I get in. I've tried to disconnect the router and other things but its not helping...

I always get disconnected, If I do eventually find a good room then its not too bad coz I can stay connected for more than the usual 2minutes

It happened to me too. Then I did some network testing on XMB and somehow the system detected the connection better and now it's been working fine.

Check your NAT type in PS3. Can't remember the exact location but if you can't find it let us know and someone will help.

NAT3 means you are more likely to get disconnects, etc.

NAT2 is quite ok. NAT1 is ideal.

If you are NAT1 or NAT2 and still getting disconnected then it is probably a combination of issues with your ISP and GT5's dodgey net code.

EDIT: If you have a NAT3 connection it may be possible to change it to NAT2 but it requires some wizardry and changes on the router.

NAT3 is almost impossible to change for your ps3. However it's possible to change the nat type of the game by opening all ports which are necessary for that game.

My ps3 nat type is 3, however I managed to get a ingame NAT1 for all the call of duty parts, I'm still working to do that with GT5.
