I have Found that racing the b-spec hands on gets more benficial results like, when getting behind anther car the b-spec driver would brake and match the speed of the car in front IF you have left the overtake function off.
When the b-spec has then matched the speed of the car in front, the b-spec will overtake when you use the overtake function IF there is enough road length.
Opera Paris is probably more difficult for the b-spec because of the tight chicanes and narrow road widths/lenghts.
Training your b-spec while hands on will allow you to trust the b-spec when left to do it by itself.

never ever use bspec if you like the game :) It's more fun to drive, even funnier it is with friends, especially Nurb and other 24H races :)

I started my game at beginning 'cuz I noticed I've used too much Bspec, and now, with almost 90% completed, I haven't use it at all :)

I almost forget, if you wanna surely beat a race, use a car that is unbeatable, never mind aspec points, if winning is your only opinion :)

LOL thanks for the reply, I think it is becuase my B Spec driver is too crap, he is only 3000 or so points, but i have now won it in my slighlty tuned nsx, i did half and he did half, and i won by a lap, so it wasn't too bad. Just picked me up a brand new shiny Toyota Minolta!!:D:D Currently I am thrashing everyone in the GTWC with it, is a bit easy woth that car though.

The B-Spec driver, even at 10,000 points, will almost never win a 200 A-spec point race.

That's the way I see it from my experiences. I've had by B-Spec driver blow easy 5-12 pointers in the one-make races.

One thing ive found is that the a-spec point system is flawed on how it judges each races' toughness. Ive had 200pt races almost anyone could win and ive also had <60 pt races that were near impossible.
The main problem is it seems to aggregate the toughness of all 5 opponents, worst case i can think of is the 1970's american races where the other cars are very slow but the buick special speeds off like a bat outta hell.
Graphical example

|-|-|-|-------------------X-----------------------------------------------------|
(Slow carsx4 = low a-spec) (buick = high a-spec)

X is what ammount of a-spec points you will get. conculsion, you will get slaughtered and have no chance of winning although it shows 20-30 a-spec points.

Great diagram. :scared:

But I know what you mean and your theory makes sense. An example I had of this is in the Classic Car Cup - I roll up in a standard Ginetta G4 and enter a 6 A-Spec race. I cream four of the competitors, but the quick one is either a Buick Special or an AC 427!! How can beating that with a stock Ginetta G4 be worth 6 points. (Not that anyone canbeat it mind you) :)

Do the B-Spec drivers get tired?
Mine did 5112 laps of Driving Park: Beginner Course in a Suby 360 without yawning once :dopey:

Damn, lol. My B-Spec driver is pretty good, even though I've only had the game since 6/11/05. I'm about 20% done and my B-Spec driver hasn't lost a single race yet. Although I prefer A-Spec, I had to rely on B-Spec a few times for during the last few days of school and the police chase that was on CNN today in California; wouldn't miss that for the world! lol

i watched that to cause i live in california to, lol it was great. wasn't it a red suv? i can't remember. LOL! :dunce:

Yea, it was on around noon today. It ended with the guy just giving up the hostages. I wish it was a little more dramatic though, just that no one got hurt.
