does it restore the rigidity completely or something like 80-90% when you apply chassis maintenance to your car? thanks guys!:)

Wouldn't think it completley restores it, I know when you do the engine overhaul on a car with high milage it soon drops back down
If you wanted it back to the original state you'd have to use one of those "car restoration tickets"

i see. so i gotta keep the most important cars for when i need 'em or use a restoration ticket. i'll keep 'em for when i really need it. thanks man!

I have a Mazda 787B with 15,000 + miles on thats been driven all in aspec and Ive never noticed anything different
Infact I restored the chassis on a car I drift alot and I hated it

Never heard of a car becoming undrivable

I doubt the mend can completely restore the chassis of the car, it only let the car take back about 70~80% of rigidity at the most. However, it's clear that the car gets far more stable for another run after undergoing the operation. :)

Store tickets on a second account and you won't have to worry about using your cars because you'll always have a new one. Personally though I don't notice the difference driving a new car or one with 300,000 miles on it.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone notice any changes at all when they install rigid chassis upgrades or chassis maintenance? Personally for me, I don't feel any difference at all.

A couple times a car has become much worse after chassis restoration, but on stiff race cars the rigidity upgrade sometimes helps. It's one of those things in GT5 of which you can never be quite sure about. I rarely restore the chassis on my road cars.

I can't imagine why the GT Auto chassis restoration service would restore the chassis to anyting less than 100% especially if it costs up to $500k credits.

Also, the general consensus here on GTP is that the chassis rigidity upgrade (strut tower brace) will negatively affect a car's handling. MY QUESTION IS:, can the strut tower brace be removed with either the chassis restoration service or a "car restoration ticket"? Maybe I'll just try it for myself, maybe not... I always forget to remember this kind of stuff when I finally get to sit down with my PS3 LOL :)

I have found some of my cars handle better with the chassis rigidity upgrade; particularly when racing on Sarthe and Spa. Most of the negative comments about this upgrade were posted before the 2.0 patch. Things have changed. I still won't install this upgrade on cars I intend to race on oval courses.

The restoration ticket does not remove any installed parts or return the paint to the original color. The chassis rigidity cannot be removed by either method you mentioned and I don't know any way to remove it.

It is only because you are used to driving it all tweaked out. I usually do a chassis restore on the rides I used that night to stay on top of my setup.
