Abs

No, it is not incorrect braking technique, I tried to lock them up and slide and it did. My response was to someone who said that it is impossible to do so in GT5 with ABS on, when clearly it is not. Now, if this is a successful way of achieving your desired results is another question all together, but the fact remains that you can indeed lock up the brakes in this game with ABS on.
That isn't locking though, that's just a slide. If you do the same without ABS you'll lock up and it's a totally different feeling. 👍 :)
This is exactly what I mean. The wheels aren't locking, it's just a slide you've pulled by yanking the wheel while braking.

True, but I forgot to mention that I also drive without ABS to increase difficulty and to challenge myself. I think driving with ABS is far too easy.

That's why I run ABS 0. It's also why I always run TCS 0. (Been playing Forza so I don't remember if GT5 calls it "TCS" or something slightly different.) I don't even use traction control for the high-end cars like the Formula GT. I absolutely hate seeing "tuning setups" that include a traction control setting, because setting it higher than zero is just "turn on Easy Mode", which isn't tuning. Any tuning setup that relies on anti-lock brakes and/or traction control isn't a proper tuning setup. Also, any player that uses anti-lock brakes or traction control is a novice, no matter how intently they might insist otherwise.
