Whilst I'm happy it is actually happening, I'm disappointed it won't hit in 2021, and as mentioned above, can't we get more cars in single player? Will they ever fix the rolling starts? Will cars continue to float just above the track surface on certain tracks? Will we get auto DOR? And with those 60fps (like we have now), will they fix the frame stuttering that was seemingly created when the British DLC pack launched on console?

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for proper high res/60fps, but there are still plenty of little issues that I'd love to see fixed.

Ahem, FOV+seat adjustment. ( Edit 2: yessssssssss FOV and seat adjustment). Screenshot below.

I noticed auxiliary lights in the trailer, absent from current console version. I'm gonna take that as this is gonna be the PC version rather than PS4/Xbox compromised version.

Edit: PS5 footage @around 4:10.00

Edit 3: Sounds like there will b DLC for ACC whilst they work on their next game.

Uh, that's... interesting.

I guess embargoes don't apply to IGN?
I think IGN had the exclusive. Kunos themselves (or 505 or whoever runs their social media) pointed towards the stream 2 days ago.

I wonder is this 24 cars maximum cap, or just selected number and we can have more cars on track?
Yeah I hope they bump that number up. It's surely possible on this gen, and with so many more months to go till the update drops I'm hoping they'll do it. But this is D3T we're talking about ..

Clearly, but inviting 25 media to an exclusive Teams call, preview event, and Q&A, binding them to a embargo, and then giving someone else a 16-hour clear head start on it is...

... sucky.

Yeah sucks. But given that out of all those outlets you´ll be the only ones who know what they are talking about as per usual I´m very much looking forward to your coverage in I guess two hours from now.

Not gonna lie - I expected a bit more from the AC Showcase.

In regards to AC2 and also ACC. Was hoping for some Track DLC at least.

Oh well. Still happy with the native next gen version - even though I believe it was once announced for this year.

Technically you're getting all of the existing DLCs at once. But given the history of this game, it feels like any new content is coming to PC before anything else.

Is there any list of what they announced on ac showcase?
-Next gen ACC Q1 2022
-M4 is coming for free in Q1 2022
-A 5 car DLC is coming in Q1 2022
-A new AC game was briefly mentionend, but nothing was shown.
-AC Mobile

I was referring to the AC showcase that just went down and was a bit light on content.

From the gtplanet news posting:

Kunos has teased a new DLC pack coming at around the same time, featuring 6-7 “very different cars” which race “under the SRO competition umbrella”. While that’s not confirmed just yet, it would seem to suggest the cars of the GT2 European Series.

Good news all around 👍

Sucky, sure, but does it really surprise you guys that much?

Like, not to be a nobber, but this surely isn't the first time IGN got an exclusive on something you guys planned to cover? I'm not sure I buy that you're THAT uninitiated.

I wouldn't imagine there is a ton of crossover between those who read IGN and the dedicated crowd in a subforum of a specialist site, to be honest.

In any case it's IGN, and being first to the post is only so much compensation for being, in general, a bit crap, and having a reputation for being awful. I'm certain your coverage will be more relevant and useful.

Probably not - but it's the first time we've been invited into a 25-strong media call with everything you've seen today previewed, and told everything's under strict embargo, only to have it totally blown by one of the participants in an apparently organised manner 16 hours before we can say anything further.

If we'd not been there at all, we'd have had largely the same post but no later than 14 hours ago, based off what IGN posted - as indeed some outlets managed, by dint of not being there and not covered by the embargo.

As a result, we're almost a day behind other outlets. Being a day behind the news is pretty much not being news any more.

Still, at least my take is better written :D

(tenner says I'll find a bloody typo in it now)

OK then, if there's no precedent, I definitely see how that's screwy. I wonder if they paid for the privilege - it wouldn't exactly be entirely out of their wheelhouse.

At least you know for next time, the embargo is merely a suggestion ;)

If there are only 5 GT2 cars(Audi, Brabham, KTM, Lamborghini, Porsche) what other 1-2 manufacturers could join?

There is also a TC series, with very different cars(More different than another GT category) as well. Nine brands featuring: BMW M2, Veloster, MINI, Golf, Civic Type R, MX-5, 370Z, 86, RS3.

Just saying. I no doubt see the obvious Fanatec connection in GT2, but would be interesting if ACC included these FF, AWD more production based cars in the game.

I’ve not noticed any mention of d3t at the end of the trailers.
Also I believe Aris has been a lot more hands on with the next gen version.
I just watched the Assetto Corsa Showcase video and I'm not quite clear on who is doing this new version. He did mention that they're not involved in the PS4 and XBox One versions but does this mean that Kunos will be handling this Gen 9 update on the PS5 and XBox Series X?

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious but the way so much emphasis is being put on this from Kunos themselves, I'm hopeful and potentially elated if such is the case.
