Just announced on BBC news. He had been suffering from cancer but its a big shock. Such a versatile actor who will be rembered for a wide range of films... Harry Potter, Galaxy Quest etc but I will forever remember him as Hans in Die Hard falling from Nakatomi Plaza.

Gutted is an understatement. Late 2015 to early 2016 has not been good for entertainment, some big hitters gone.
 
First Bowie, now Rickman, Bowie's passing away kinda hit me, but this one really gets me down, both great artists taken away by cancer on this year, it's a real shame and I hope their legacy stays on, at least we have that from them and we should appreciate what they have given us through their carriers, and learn from it.

Rest in Peace.

Said the same thing to my wife, glad I'm not the only one. I also said the part where these famous deaths are so far all british...thanks 2016 I thought you'd be better than this.
