Under the "Maintenance and Service" section where you car do the paints, rebuilds, and race mods, there is a button for "Aero Kits".
For a great many cars, it won't let you into that section.
For all the cars that have let me go in there, on the "Wing" tab, there are usually 2 to 3 generic wings that can be added, or used to replace the stock wing if the car had one.
But, there are also tabs on this screen for "Front", "Rear", and "Extension" in addition to the "Wing" tab.
I have yet to find any car that has any available parts under any of those 3 sections. Does anyone know of any specific vehicles which have parts under this section?
I'm just curious whether this is simply a place holder for yet another thing they haven't actually implemented yet, or whether it is something that is only available on a select few cars, in the same manner that "Race Modification" is limited to just a couple cars.

Thanks

The aero options are usually limited to premium cars. For example, I believe the Ferrari Italia has aero options for all of those (front, rear, extensions). Some standard cars seem to only have rear wings available.

Thanks.
I checked it out and it has a "Front" and an "Extension" option. Nothing for "Rear" and just 2 ugly generic wings.
I checked out a few other Ferraris and they didn't have any options.
So, it's not something like "All Premiums" or "Every car under car maker X".
I assume it's just a set batch of cars like the "Race Mod" cars.

So, they obvious next question is: "Does anyone have a list of which cars have available Aero parts, beyond just the generic wing options?"

Well for the most part, I believe none of the Standard cars have aero options except for wings.

Some of the premiums will have at least aero options besides just wings. Also, some premiums have wings that are not the "generic" kind. In other words, there are wings that were included in the game specifically for certain cars. I can't think of any cars specifically but I was surprised to see some real wings included in the game...

I also think the Lambo Gallardo has all aero options.

The Enzo is one of them too.

Yeah, just checked that out.
The optional wing looks similar to the one that Ferrari mounted on the FXX car. Not exactly it, as the top is level on the GT5 one and is stepped on the real FFX one. The mounting points and the height are similar though.
I'm not really a fan of wings on street cars, but this one is tastefully done, at least the one in body color. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like a lot of the GT5 add-on wings.

I have to say, most of the cars I've seen (and I have almost all the premiums) don't look much good with aero parts. The Evo VI Tommi, Mazda AZ-1 and 458 Italia are among my favourites with aero parts on, but things like, say, the MX-5 and Elise 111R look pretty bad with aero bits, but it does depend on the colour, really. I like the Enzo's wing, myself, I think it adds a hint of F40 with the square-ish wing profile. The EA21R Cappuccino (and I presume the EA11R has the same parts) look quite aggressive with aero parts, too, but some just look odd.

On the 300SL and old 500 the front aero removes the front and rear bumpers (though on the 500 it adds a tiny lip splitter), and with the VW Van it changes the bumper to a bigger type, which is really cool. The 300SL with no bumper is beautiful, and the 500 looks much better with a small body-coloured lip instead (there is a black lip, too), but the rear wings are just ugly.

Thanks.

There's a thread on this already, people started listing what cars could have what aero parts attached.

The only cars of mine that have all round aero parts is my '88 supra and my 350z. Its a shame you cant have different ones and a large selection for all cars. As it is meant to be the ultimate driving experience.

When I did a search, I got several threads that were asking about one specific car or another.
The only thread I could find with slightly more info was this one:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=140629
Where they listed a few cars that have aero parts available, but only about half a dozen cars are mentioned.
Is that the thread you are talking about, or is there actually a comprehensive list that I just haven't found? If there is, can you post the link?

If that is all we have, I might give a shot at putting together a list like we have for much of the other groupings of data in GT5.
I think you actually have to own a car before you can find out if it has aero parts by actually going into the maintenance section with the car.
Since I have about 2/3 of the cars in the game, I can at least get a decent start to the list.

But I will wait until I find out for sure that we don't already have a full list somewhere, because there is no sense in wasting my time if it's already available.

I'm working on a list myself cause I own all the car and putting aero on them :D. About 2/3 done, I should have it completed tomorrow.
My list consist of 7 column for each car: Paint Car, Front, Side, Rear, Extension, Wing and Cost.
The extra Side column is for some car get side skirt and some doesn't. I'll post it up tomorrow night.

Only some premium cars can get the aero extensions. I'm pretty sure the Gallardo has at least one option in all the tabs.

Awesome! Can't wait to see it.
You own every car in the game?
What was the final total?
Obviously, not everyone can get all the different Stealth and Chromeline cars and such. But I'm wondering what the final tally is on cars that everyone can buy through the new and used dealerships.
I'm honestly just shooting for the 1,000 car trophy, or else I would have stopped a while ago. I had every car I actually wanted before I hit the 300 mark!

No, I meant I own all premium cars in the game (my total count is only at 410). But you can't do anything to standard production cars beside wing and paint the body anyway. There's really no need to make a list for that now do we.

Yeah, that's the thread, I didn't realize it had 'died', i.e. people had stopped contributing to it, shame.

Yeah, that would be cool if you did do something like that, I think alot of people would be interested in some kind of 'official' list, rather than information scattered around different threads.

Nice one 👍

EDIT:

Didn't see HN7's post, if he's already doing / done it, then...

All done. Here's the complete aero kits option for all premium cars (minus DLC cars, they can't be customized anyway):
