Just got home from work can't wait to watch this.

Very proud of my STC Racers!

That's the final race which we did not make. I have no idea how 2.11's were run. I do know that I was not running them. Ha.

I watched the first race, those guys running 2:11's were just doing an excellent job of working together and using the draft.

You can notice that the 2.11 cars had faster speed in the turns, something I believe can be attributed to better tuning.

So here is the grid as of Laguna. Mattics was missing so Dangit was able to run. Ito was also out. With the two new 300 drivers 9 are in 300 and 7 in 500. If Mattics does not show and Dangit does things will be fine. Full grid either way, just a 9-7 split if Mattics does arrive.

It's still a fight for the top spot as there are a ton of points left to battle for with some of the most exciting tracks to come. With Suzuka and DRC next in line it's anyone's win at these courses with pit strategy and consitency being the key to take podium and hopefully a 1st place. Get tuned up for Suzuka and post your times here to make your competition worry a bit. Ha.

What about Laguna? Aren't we running it on the 8th like you said? Are we still going to try to sort out the connection issues Monday as planned?

Even if we don't run Laguna, and I'm not sure why we wouldn't; we still need to try to fix the problem.

In regards to the Inter-League race, I was thrilled to be able to participate and be on track with some seriously fast drivers. Practicing during the week, I was able to hit some 2:14.5xx's w/ full tank and was plenty happy with that. Hadn't spent any time on Spa before last week and GT500's have never been my thing either so that was probably as good as it was gonna get for me. I'm sure the other AIWJT drivers were able to hit some faster laps.

I was pretty anxious getting into the room and then the practice lap times started hitting 2:11's. That's full tank no draft. Gee only 3 or 4 seconds off my best! Was funny our group was all at the bottom of the starting grid with each group together up the grid-me last of course. Jess, JT and RR all got to mix it up with some of the other racers. One of the guys from the second place group wrecked so I got to stay ahead of him for several laps at least. At least my modest goals of not getting lapped or spinning out were met!

Those PURE drivers are indeed incredible. Most are WRS level 1 racers and it's no surprise they took the final. Watch the reply if possible to see how to run Spa. AIWJT can hang their heads high as we were all squeeky clean and plenty quick for casual racers.

Anyway, Thanks JT for allowing me to run. Glad we all had no incidents during the race too. AWIJT and SPT are where I belong for sure, we all have a good time, some laughs and get to make some good friends. The more we practice together, the better we get for the race. Thursday night was great to have so many on track.

Nope, no Laguna. Don't want to deal with that again. I run 16 deep with the LeMans League, mics. on with no issues. So it might just be a lounge issue.

So...with that said,

I am very much looking forward to Monday, we can all bounce ideas off of each other, try ideas anyone may have as we move around from lounge to lounge and try creating an open lobby or two. I think together with all of our efforts we will find a solution. You guys have a lot more experience than I running online racing as my first online experience is with GT5 so I'm the noob asking for your help.

Laguna left a bad taste in my mouth a 6 pack couldn't even wash away. I apologize, but whatever happened there is beyond my control or patience. I'm a bad League President when viewed from that standpoint I must admit.

Fantastic write up above ncr. It was great to have you, RR and Jess run for us. Big thanks to Bo for waiting in the wings as a backup and a real time viewer of our butts getting kicked.

For Laguna I think JT was concerned about dragging the season out. If we can sort out or pin point any particular problem with Laguna that would be great. It could have just been that particular room on that particular night. But I think we should test without mics. I've been running in Gamesta's league on Sunday mornings. They do not use mics and we did not have any problems at Laguna. I'm thinking maybe the combination of a Friday night, when everybody's probably on, with the mics caused the problem.

I think also in the future when we have bad lag like that, we should stop the race earlier and start a new room to see if that clears it up.

Great point about stopping the race sooner. If we do not use mics. and you have bad lag stop and use message chat and we can reset. I am confident this won't be used to redo a bad start.

Exactly on Friday, that's why I want to switch to Thursday. Could be funky servers again.

Excellent points Brett. Could have been a number of things that night. I might have had a bad connection from the start who knows. And if anyone else wants to host be my guest. My thoughts on mics is this; I like the fact that we can talk to each other during a race. I keeps it more personal and especially with 2 classes running communication helps. In the race Saturday I ended up running around by myself and it felt empty and boring. But majority rules here and I'll do what ever is needed.

I suggest everyone check there Internet connections and clear their caches

We have 3 races left in this season. Let's enjoy them

By no means do I hope that it's a lounge error as I like having you in charge of the room as you were for STC. The main reason for my request to try other rooms is to rule out your lounge as the issue if so. It's a good fit having you as race host. For the record I like mics. as well. It'll get worked out.

The only way testing is going to work is if we can get almost a full room. Something that might not be feasible this time of year with everyone's schedule

If you guys want to see a replay of the Semi Final Lobby A Race from the 3D3 event, Wardez has uploaded a high quality version of the stream to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hrkc2PiVwzY&feature=channel_video_title

Skip to about 20 minutes for the beginning of quali and about 35 minutes for the race start. I'm watching it myself for the first time now and hoping he doesn't trash me for my crash on the 3rd lap.

Uh-oh, I think I just spent a little too much time picking an outfit for my driver.
