JT, is the race going to be 24 laps and the formation lap for 25 total?

Tire management is going to be a big factor at this track. I've toned down my suspension to help with tire wear, it cost me about .3sec, but well worth it. It's one of the few that a 2 stop strategy could work. With 24 laps I doubt we'll see any 2 stops though.


I'll be on tomorrow evening/night if any of the 300 guys want to run. Post on here what times you want/can be on. I'm free from about 6pm cst to whenever.

Yes Bo 24 plus 1. I'm running a 2 stop for sure. I forgot how much tires get chewed up at Suzuka. Last time I raced here was when the guy who drove pink cars yelled at me for riding his bumper, he was slow due to a failed 1 stopper but still kept trying to defend.
 
I consider myself good with tire wear and I'm definately doing 2 stops.

I'll try running some tonite. Just ran a few and my arm is still really sore. Hit some mid 2:03's although it doesn't matter that much w/ the tire wear factor. Lots of nice deep sand here!

JT, since we are running an open lobby this week you or someone else can go ahead and make the room. I really don't want to deal with the "unwanted" and their Nastygrams asking why they were kicked and complimenting me on how I resemble certain anatomy parts. In other words its a pain in the .......

I'll have an open lobby up at 6:00pm PST tomorrow. I'll post room number here. We will see random people trying to get in. If you can't get in just keep trying until you squeak past a random as I kick them. If we don't get a full room the text box will be in overdrive.

WHAT?!?!? 2:04's and only one pit stop!!! OMG I just got into the 2:04's but I was thinking of making 2 or even 3 pit stops!! :crazy:

I just ran the full race. 2:04 fastest lap with one stop as well.
 
Ok, which of you GT300 guys sent Jess into my lounge tonight to mess with my head? :trouble:


He really had me going for a while, and you guys know it takes a lot to get me worked up. :cool:

Now, you've got me curious. What happened? I ran some laps with Jess yesterday and , while my head is pretty messed up, it's not his fault. This one pit stop talk has me scared.

He came in my lounge last night while snake and I were practicing and was giving me a hard time about having an advantage because my car was lighter than the other GT300's. He even got me to add 50kg to it for a 3 lap race, it definitely slowed me down by about .8sec. I finally told him that I could run the same times in that Toyota Apex as I did in my Celica. Then he told me to prove it. :irked: By that time he had me so worked up that I was afraid I couldn't even run a decent lap in my regular car.... but I'd opened my big mouth, so had to put up or shut up.:O I jumped in that MR2 and did some quick settings and went out and ran an identical time to my best in the Celica, and did it on the first lap. :D

He finally told me that he was just messing with me:lol: Which made sense, since we don't even race each other in the series, a fact I neglected to think about earlier. :dunce: I figured that either you or scorpion had sent him in there to mess with my head (I did live through the late '60's and '70's, so it's fairly easy to mess with my head ;))

Anyway.... you kinda had to be there.... after he left snake said "couldn't you tell he was just 🤬 with you?" He said he almost jumped in too, since Jess was having so much fun!:lol:
 
I guess we are going to have to promote Jess to General Mayhem so Dangit can have an assistant.

It seems Jess has welcomed you to the party. Our practice rooms usually consist of a race or two, a third that is usually a corner cutting fiasco, most races after that usually turn into a mirror shaving competition which quickly escalate to demolition derby festivities. Healthy laughter ensues. You guys should of never friended each other on PSN the other night. It's all uphill from there.
