ALL DRIVERS!!!!

For Fuji GT

2 wheels on track at all times. I understand 1st and 2nd turn runoff. 2nd left turn of the track after spoon right turn should produce some runoff as well. This is understood.

GT turn sharp right, where the slow u-turn chicane usually is, 2 wheels on. If you want to run over the candy cane curb with the center of your car it's ok as long as you have 2 wheels on. Excessive cutting across this corner with 4 wheels off will result in a points penalty if a pattern is observed. I know that 4 wheels off may occur as a result of a mistake at times as it's a hard high speed turn. Just better to play it safe so it's not the norm.

Wait looking at the list the TOMs supra isn't available, lol... I'll grab the yellow hat and give it a go. Was thinking it just had to be a premium Gt500

I don't remember anyone saying the Castrol Supra wasn't elligible, it may have just not been on the list. I think the Yellow Hat GT-R already has 2 drivers, so it won't be available.

I'm sure JT will see this soon and tell you for sure. 👍

I wrote you in for the Supra on the drivers list, post #4, a few days ago. I was just to lazy to edit the eligible cars list.

I think we have practiced this track so much in the past month or so that we know where every blade of grass is:) Next weeks race though will be a different story, I need lots of practice there.
 
I am actually getting kind of :yuck: of this track already
and if the GT300's are running 1:37's I am in lots of trouble:nervous:

Yeah, I'm sure not looking forward to next week. I don't like that track at all, and have never ran it in reverse.
 
TM REVERSE!?! What the... I have to admit, I've run maybe 5 laps there. May as well be a new track.

Anyway, was hoping to plaster the thread with photos from VIR this past weekend but just as I was approaching the 67 Sunoco Camaro (the real one-restored), my wife's camera met the pavement. Argggg! So many cool old rides there: Lolas, Ford gt40's, Cobra's, A Real 66 Shelby gt350, numerous Lotus's (Caterham's and the like), Porsche 911 Carrera's (early 70's), Ginetta's, old British roadsters etc.. all purpose built racecars driven in anger on track.

Best moment: We did a couple fan laps in my Evo X and 3 cars behind us was a 71 Cuda convertible, Hemi Orange-ORIGINAL paint a 1 of 9 car 383 w/3 speed. Showroom condition. Man, it was surreal seeing that thing in my rearview.
 
Aaahhh. Trial Mountain Reverse. Just the response I was hoping for.

Cool stuff NCR. Must have been a blast.
 
Trial Mountain is fun... Though dont remember the last time I've gone through it in reverse.

Even better. This track seems to take the Race Soft out of Race Softs. I predict the Z's and Supra's doing well in GT500 class and the RE Mazda doing well in the GT300 class.

as for this weeks race I think tires are going to be a problem, right now I cannot get past 10 laps with out losing a second per lap. Think I am going to have to settle for a 2 stopper on Friday. Estimated time to finish 30 laps is around 49-50 mins for this guy.

It's 34 laps X a GT500 lap of 1.20. equals a 40.8 minute race. Add 2 pits and it's about a 40.48 minute race. Your right about tires, gonna be a 2 stop for me.

1:30/1:32 are times for Fuji GT in the GT500 class. I think JT was thinking of Deep Forest Rev times

I was talking about Trail Mountain R. Fuji will be a about a 42 minute race.

There's no way I'm running 1:38's at lap 10. I've never driven a lap that felt really good at Fuji. It just might be my worst track, and that's saying a lot.:sick:
