If I'm 1 to 2 seconds off pace Thursday night, it is due to the huge tray of Christmas cookies one of my customers gave me today. Need more milk

I raced at Spa before I was able to buy it. I was able to join rooms and race at it with no issues. At least that was the case for me.

Does it cause issues if someone joins a lobby and doesn't have the track?

No it just want let you in the track. Prompts you with a message.
 
That's what ill do, imma see if I can't gift you a Homer Simpson racing suit, and scratch up a Geico caveman for dangit.

That sucks. Honestly, I don't know who wouldn't want to buy the new stuff. But that's just me.

I have it, I bought it when it came out, I just noticed it when one of my friends couldn't get in a race. I was just relaying a message. Trying to keep everyone up to date. You can also get a penalty while doing a hot lap.

I also bought it when it came out...along with the most recent dlc. I love new stuff. It's awesome.

There's an option now to enable penalties during qualifying.

One more day of practice. Please don't speak about Spa. I know at least one of our points contenders doesn't have it. We will deal with that next week.
 
Crash physics seem to be updated, more skids, slower speeds when you hit a wall a unpredictable outcomes when you tap someone.

I don't know what it is, but there are subtle handling differences now also. It may be due to the tire wear model they are using now. I don't think I'd notice it in most cars, but I drive the Celica so much that I know when it's doing something unusual. My lap times at Daytona are not the same as before the update either.

I got to test the bandwidth logging last night in DA's lounge, there were 4 of us in there practicing with mics on. It should be interesting to see the results after the race tomorrow.
 
I've read a few posts with reports on tire wear for endurance races. Sounds like the RS's w/ their faster lap times will outpace RH's even w/ 1 more pit. That's for like an hour race.

Haven't noticed too much difference in physics-been more concerned about the wear. The GT500's tires wear much more than the 300's at DRC for sure.

Seems like it's always something. And what's with the wind noise!

The LSD has changed. No more hammer down out of turns. The LSD along with increased tire wear puts a damper on aggressive corner exits.
 
I just ran a tire test at DRC. 1st stint had to pit after a pace lap and 9 laps. 2nd stint I was able to run 10 laps. Fastest was a 41.7 slowed to 44's on 1st stint and 43's on second with less fuel.

No sarcasm here either, I agree. I'm a little on the fence with the wind, but last night at DRC after a couple of laps it just added to the realism, I mean yeah I'd rather here loud engine noise, but simulation/realism wise this makes more sense.

And as much as I hate to admit it the GTR Black Edition is nice!

That is probably a lot more noticeable in the GT500's, in the 300's it's hard to lose traction coming out of a turn. (unless you are in one of the Autobacs)
 
As we are suspending our last league race next week till the following Thursday, due to holiday commitments. I will host a fun race next Thursday. We will be doing a one make race. Stay tuned I'll have all the information be this afternoon
 
I won't be able to make the last race either. I'll be out of town for work the 4th-16th.
