Alien or Predator

Neither will win because the aliens will outnumber the predators then the predators will be sore losers and use their atomic bombs on their wrist. They will all die!!!
 
I do believe, after reading posts from people who seem to have explored some of the AvP books and such, that this is an EXTREMELY balanced match. But I will pull for Predator all the way! I will find out today when i go see the movie! :D

For range attacks, they're not that useful in tight places...
 
the predator has many different views im not sure of all them but it flips throguth them in predator 2 they are all different so i wouldnt be suprised if they had one able to see the aliens but dont forget that the aliens out number them so the aliens already have the upper hand but at least the preds can see aliens........ive got another idea on how avp will go the preds will win but now the aliens have a predalien whcih will kick a$$
 
The predalien was a scientific experiment conducted waaaay into the future, there can't be one in AvP the movie since it's set now.

The Aliens don't emit heat signitures, this is found in Aliens whern the marines use infra red to try and spot them and they don't. Also the Aliens can see the predators even when they're cloaked, the aliens track by phermone trails which everything has from people to animals and predators (this is found in the AvP games) so the predators cloak will not be of any use agains an Alien. The Alien will pobably be able to avoid being hit by powerful ranged attaks like the plasma cannon since it's not the fastest moving projectile fired from a gun, so if they attack in numbers they will overcome and small ranged attacks like the disk thing and that shuriken type weapon the predators use.
 
well i know what happens in the film coz ive just finished watching it and I wont spoil it. Preditors are cool and so are te aliens but what if we had a cross breed??????? :scared: :sly:
 
We already have cross breed called the predalien.
 
I know live4speed, but i was refering to the film, if you havent seen it then wait till you do then you will get my inside joke :)
 
Ah okay, I don't want to know any of the plot, I already know what I want to but do you think this film is worth paying a fiver to see in the cinema or not?
 
well put it this way, im one of the biggest Alien fans going (probably) I used to watch Aliens every sunday, and i know the film word by word, and i have all the books and stuff to acompanie the movies of all the alien films, and im also a v-big fan of the preditor films. So when i herd that this film was being made i was exicited to say the least, but then i watched the teaser trailers and stuff on apple movies and i wasn't impressed by the cast selection (apart from good old Lance.H.), and then i herd that they were going to use animatroniks for the aliens instead of CG so that made me a little more excited, but after watching it i wasnt impressed at all. For one the film is too short and there isnt enough action at all for a film from the best action film franchises, so IMO its worth paying £5 to see but not worth the effort to go to the cinema, I felt a little let down from fox for making this film.

Alien 3: 6/10
Alien resurection: 2/10

Preditor: 10/10
Preditor 2: 6/10

AVP: 7/10
 
Alien: Resurrection was great - although how the hell DID Call get behind that door after she was shot?

Alien Cubed (:p) was appalling - they just wiped out two characters they didn't want to deal with anymore, screwed around with camera angles to make the place seem more enclosed (and failed miserably) and had her kicking booties with Charles Dance. "Oh look, everyone I know is dead, I'm trapped in an all-male prison where someone's just tried to gang-rape me and there's monsters about. Let's have sex!"

Aliens was still the best one - having rewatched Alien twice in the last three weeks, it just doesn't stand up as well as Aliens does.
 
Hmm, I might go to the Cinema to see it still, like you I'm a big Aliens fan, it's one of the few films I have on a genuine DVD, I've watched it loads of times, I also prefer longer films 2 hour and over because theres usually a lot more character development in them and the plot gets explored better. I want this film to make lots of money for 2 reasons, one the next alien film is riding on it's success (if it's anything like ressurection though I think I'll stick with Alien and Aliens and forget they're still going) and 2 the next predator movie is also riding on this films success, Predator 2 wasn't that bad a film, it just was'nt as good as the fanbloodytastic first one.
 
well, I saw it, and i enjoyed it. Did it have faults, yes. However, It is still a very entertaining movie to me. It did lack action. I mean, the Title is Alien VS Predator, and there is very little of that going on. Towards the end, things do get a little hokey.... I didn't notice any bad effects.... I wan't to see it again, and i will pay to do it. It probably won't last long in theaters so i'll have to see it soon. I think they definately left it open ended. Actually i really want to pick up teh AvP books now.

I knew that but I was also going along the lines the "my enemys enemys is" isn't the right puncuation anyway and it should be my enemies enemies are. not that it should have been my enemy's enemy is.

It's a gag. You used the word "enemies" six times in two lines. The two words sound very similar.

With friends like these, who needs enemas? :D
