I used to play it alot when it was released and months after.Awesome SP and MP.Single Player was quite scary the first time i played it,especially with the marines.That radar made everything worse,there you are walking through a dark corridor and suddenly blips start appearing on the radar and they are closing in but you still can't see a damn thing.Turn on the flashlight and suddenly the thing drops from the ceiling and starts rending you into pieces.

LOL! i know that feeling Champ. I played Pred campaign first, then aliens and lastly rines. Though i feel more at home with the pred (i play better as one) i must say i enjoyed the rines campaign the most simply for the **** my pants factor. Man i only played that game after 2am, with earphones on and all the lights off. Holy **** the whole campaign is like *beep beep*..........*beep beep*......*beep beep*....*beep beep* 'omg where the **** are they? *beep beep...*beep beep*..*bee* AAHHHHHH!!!
I love that game
I thought the game was fairly easy on the hardest difficulty and proved to be rather short. But you do get 3 campaigns, so that makes up for it. Especially since they are all truly a different experience.
Where abouts are you stuck TG? If you get really desperate, don't cheat! As long as you've got broadband, maybe you could find someone to play the game with using the xco-op mod. Then you can have a friend to play through the SP game. I've been thinking about doing that myself, but then i wouldn't be as scared when i play...and that's half the fun.
