That's a new one. I have experienced the freezing at the end of the race though and have had to power down.
I'm still seeing black screens (including the Damon screen) at the beginning of races every night when racing online. It also happens to a few others at the same time. The lag gets really bad at times and I'm hitting speeds at Daytona that I have never seen. Most nights the room ends up breaking and locking up when switching tracks/resetting the room and the host has to start a new room.
A little good news though. A racer I know complained to PSN and some sort of tech was in the room and raced with us. He got to see first hand how some of us blackscreened and he was there when the room locked up. Hopefully the info collected will help fix these issues.
Started the Tskuba Roadster 4 hour endurance, everything was fine until about lap 14 or 15, car will twitch in the corners just like you describe. Not a race breaker but very annoying. You can go into the pit and save your race and come back and it is gone for a few laps, then it comes back. I tried pitting and changing to fresh tires with no success. Started a practice race with no tire wear with the same makes of cars and the twitch came back at 14 laps, but it did not appear as bad, performing the race this way. I think the new tire wear makes it worse, and for some reason changing the tires in the pit does not help.
It really breaks up how smooth the cars normally turn into corners, and that is one of the things I like about GT5.
