Some online lobbies have no tire noise at all. Never experienced that before 2.02.

I've experienced this before 2.02. The screeching get's replaced by this weird muffled sound. Get's fixed when I rejoin.

I ask for proof everytime I read things like this, or Ferrari doesnt want their cars to seen being wrecked or customized. I never get it.

Shift had Ferrari's that could be wrecked. FM4 right now has Ferraris that can be wrecked, customized, and beaten by other cars. F1 2011 you can race them against the other manufactures and beat them.

So please point me to a link with these licensing issues. If you cant, then stop spreading wrong info.

Because Codemasters has the F1 license, so if it was seen racing other cars then it claim to be a Grand Prix... (thats what I have heard)

Right, but still doesnt explain the only games I mentioned. Nobody can ever seem to find info on it...just "I heard".

According to the AUP you need to back up statements. Not you in particular, but everyone claming Ferrari license makes it where you cant wreck them or customize them.
 
Bugatti Veyron (bone stock, inc stock SH tires) seems to top out at 324 KM\h @ 6th gear after 2.02. Strange, it will not go faster and shifting up to 7th only makes it slow down quicker.

how to do it:

Change regs to Kart only. Take Kart sit in pits and sit there. then a buddy should then change the online regs to allow all cars. Kart driver will not get kicked from the pits and can now race online with other cars. If the KART driver returns to Lobby then the regs won't allow him to join.

Has anyone else had the room freeze RIGHT before a race starts, displaying only the map? You get the watch every one else drive off while quitting the game. Twice now that happened to me. Really, gt5? you have freeze right at the wrong moment?

First off i am really sorry about how long this post is going to be... But i am trying to help people...

Mine did that before i did a few things and it fixed my problem and that is....
1. Backed up your save data
2. Delete GT5 GAME DATA
3. Perform restore file system (make the PS3 do it not wait until it freezes and it would automatically FYI THE SYSTEM NEVER DID IT AUTOMATICALLY UNTIL THE PS3 SYSTEM UPDATE V4.00)
4. delete save data off ps3 and then start GT5 and reinstall all updates (and if you choose install the 8GB pre-game install this part doesn't have to be done)
5. After updates have finished back out of the game and delete the new save data off and load your backup save from step 1. back on the PS3.... This fixed the problem for me and a few of my friends that their GT5 was freezing not loading up certain cars and if you tried it would freeze the system....

How to do restore file system

1. Take and games (discs) and usb flash drives out (all you will need is your finger controller usb charging cable and your controller)
2. Turn the PS3 off
3. PRESS AND HOLD power button until the PS3 turns on then off after it does release your finger
4. PRESS AND HOLD power button until you hear a QUICK.DOUBLE BEEP (you will hear a single beep when the system turns on a second beep a few seconds later then in a few more seconds you will hear the quick double beep) after you hear the double release your finger
5. A screen will prompt you to plug ib your controller using a usb cable and push ps button... Do that
6. A menu will pop with 6 options.. SELECT OPTION 3 (OPTION 3. RESTORE FILE SYSTEM) use the d-pad to select this
7. After you set your tv video output resolution again a screen will pop up that will say "hard disc is corrupted and will be restored" click ok and then wait for it to finish fyi if you run a digital audio out cable you will have to set this back in sound settings

FYI RESTORE FILE SYSTEM DOES NOT DELETE ANY PERSONAL FILES SUCH AS MUSIC, VIDEOS, GAME DATA, SAVE DATA, ECT... basically it cleans your system up sort of like a virus scan on a pc... If you have any questions please private message me i will try to help you out...

I recently bought some headfones and I realised that some cars (only Standards) ,their Engine sound , come from the Left or from the Right when driving in Cocpit View only...Is that a 2.02 issue ??
 
Another bug, missing on your list: DLC cars, purchased from the NCD "Warning: This car can not be sold."!


And in case PD should take a look at your bug thread, please add the following bugs to your list. They are not from 2.02, but the most annoying. :sly:

1.) Fix online racing! If you want a game that isn't dead after a year, you need to bring up more for the online mode. Here are some good ideas (imo): Online Racing 2.0!

2.) Fix the item list! Same items (paints & gear) doesn't group to each other like it should. The game makes a difference between obtained & gifted. But why? It's the god 🤬 same item! Really a game breaker when you reach all the time the item limit (7000 items) because of hundreds of duplicated paints & gears! :banghead:

3.) Car tickets are not grouped! Why doesn't the same tickets group like the items? Really not funny to find some tickets between 100 ticket 1000's or when you have to count the tickets manually.

4.) Item limit reached & no more ticket 1000's! After I've reached my item limit (7000 items), I can't receive more ticket 1000's! Because you can't predict when you'll receive a ticket 1000, you can't delete a item before to have space for the ticket. When you delete a item before, it will get filled up again with a login paint. And when the ticket 1000 gift pops up, you can't just delete then one item to obtain the ticket, you have to press the message away & the ticket is lost. :grumpy:

5.) Daily login bonus & auto save, after you've reached your item limit! I found out that after you've reached your item limit & you log in to get the daily login bonus (200%), the game doesn't anymore save automatical. You need to save manual to keep your 200% login bonus.

6.) The 8C Competizione '08 is not a FF car! In the german version of the game, Grand Tour/Eiger, it states in the description of the challenge that the car is a FF car (front engine & front wheel drive), which is BS & for sure annoying for the most. :sly:

7.) DS3 vs. wheel players, what are your opponents using? Everyone knows that you are more precise & faster with a wheel. Just take a look at the online seasonal time trials. So why can't I see in the online lobby what device (DS3 or wheel) my opponents are using in my online lobby? You can do it for the time trials, so you can add this option for sure for the online lobby as well. I like to know if it's lack of skill or lack of the better device, I like to know my opponents. :sly:

^^^^^I LOVE number 7. I am very fast with a controller and often rank in the top 500 in the time trials, but I lose online sometimes and I'd love to know what my opponents are using. 10/10 idea.

I have a problem/glitch:
I took a Audi RS6 Avant, (premium) painted the body and wheels, maxed it out, and decided to test it out on Chamonix. When watching the replay, I noticed that the wheels weren't the color I painted them, and they weren't the same wheel I changed them to. The same thing happened with a Lancer Evo X TC. This was happening before 2.02. It really annoys me because I wanted to get a nice Christmas/winter wallpaper for my XMB screen.

it's because premium cars automatically get rally wheels when you enter a dirt or snow track.

It was my understanding that exiting or restarting a race opens an "are you sure?" prompt, but I exited 2 hours into an endurance race by accident today. Is it only restart that ever prompted a yes/no box?

It just happened to me right now. It's rather frustrating.

Edit: Happened twice in a row, I don't know if it's the course that's doing this, but something's causing this.

It's also happening to me and my friends on a regular basis now. I'm really getting aggravated and I'm afraid people are going to give up on the game.

There is a fix that seems to be working. If the room host is awesome he/she will get everyone to back out of the race and then reset the room.

Almost all premium model cars are installed with OZ rally hubcaps when racing offroad, if that's what you're talking about. It's not a glitch, but it's really annoying.
 
After exiting the course in a lobby, it didn't exit, my HUD disappeared, clock/player list/chat box froze and the game resumed as normal (ie. I can pause, gas, stop, reverse, etc.), just can't access the pause menu.
 
One more to the list but this is since 2.0. In ARCADE mode when you for example, choose SPA or any other track, choose a car, go and play for a couple of laps, then go to change the car again and put the same track some times the game does not load the track and Freezes right there. You have to turn off the PS3 and put the game again to play.
Happens since 2.0 and very frequently since you restart the same track more than a couple of times.
 
About the camera roll in chase cam, when i first saw this, i didn't actually think it WAS a bug... I saw it and felt that it adds to a feeling of immersion inside the car that you would only get from cockpit view. I actually quite like it!

Also, i do not know if this was present before this update, but the replay mode does something strange with damage rendering. I was fast forwarding through a race to a point AFTER i knew i had taken some serious visual damage for a photo, and when i got there, there was no damage on my car at all... Yet, any point AFTER the fast-forwarding where i had crashed, damage accumulated as if the thing had started the race from that point undamaged.
