A few from the last year that I really like

IMG_3030.PNG

This probably doesn't look as good as what others have posted here, but it was taken on an iPhone 13 Pro (with the ultra-wide camera in particular, and with some simple editing made with the Photos app), and I remember being surprised at how good the quality of the photo was even with my tablelamp as the only major light source. I tried to replicate the way the photograph was taken at the time just now, and it showed that the lens could be as near as 2 cm away from the object! I definitely couldn't say the same for my previous iPhone 7.

From the Show off your latest purchase thread
The 28mm will definitely live on my Zf for a few weeks while I play around with some film emulation in-camera and maybe do some X-Pan emulation with this focal length and crop it down to a 65:24 aspect ratio.

Love this aspect ratio! I love the lens as well, there might be some weird rendering at some aperatures but that might be my lightroom loading in previews while I edit.

I love how gullible and short-sighted Robins are. This one got within two feet of me. I was lying on the grass in my backyard wearing flannel pajamas, flip flops and a grey hoodie with the hoodie over my head and the viewfinder while I slowly tracked its movements. It's spring so its need for food is higher than its need for safety.

This little cute one was a welcome surprise. Red-tailed squirrels have become rare in my backyard and I haven't seen a chipmunk in over two years now. I know my neighbors feed them by leaving peanuts out and other nuts so they migrated over but hopefully they haven't become dependent.

All I see now are just black and grey squirrels in my backyard, which isn't so bad it's just that they're not as cute.

I just have to say....

What a fitting description! ;)

BWAHAHAHA!!!!
I missed a word out there; I should have said MY first proper motorsport of the year... I wasn't trying to insult all the other motorsport that has already started!

(Rallycross is the best though! ;))

Now who's ready for some 12H Spa-Francorchamps shots?

A day where mother nature played all her hands. Rain, snow, sunshine, wind, cold temperatures and even hailstones.
Wonder how tomorrow will be like.

And with that, day two of my 12H Spa-Francorchamps weekend has concluded. Thankfully, the weather was way better than yesterday. Still not great, but it wasn't raining as much as on Saturday. Snow was only appearant early in the morning, while the hailstorms of yesterday were gone completely.
