20 laps indeed, but it is arcade mode, so you can set as many laps as you like.

I wouldve been happier if it was a more accurate representation of the F2007 but its still very awesome to have a modern F1 car in GT. It wouldve been also cool if they could get the LCD screen to actually show what its supposed to - RPM & KPH

As a 'former' F1CE player I'd like to draw a comparison, there isn't one! This is crazy mad realism. Too bad lack of 'worthy' tracks, Suzuka & Fuji will do for now. I can see my first problem, getting in Top 100, as everyone will be driving this one! I hope this creates new interest in F1 veiwing in real life.

For me it seems to be too fast compared to real-world F1..

Look at the speed throu the slow esses before the long straight:
Its about 100 km/h !

I dont think this is the speed a real F1 could go at this part of the track...

Haha that looked a bit like Online racing, some odd AI behaviour right there.
This game is fantastic, I really can't wait to put my hands on it, this game franchise for me is so precious it makes me feel it's alive and with the new GT5: Prologue it really shines. Just look at that F1 car and its speed it's pure trance.

I just saw the videos on the homepage of gtplanet. I synced both the videos (The Real Suzuka Lap of Schumacher in F2006 VS Dark Ruffo's F2007 onboard, game lap). And Dude.. Schuey just pwned you bro! How amazingly smooth he is around every corner is unbelievable..

Oh did I mention, while switching my eyes from one to the other I didnt realise what was real, i had to see the "TIME STAMP" on the middle of the screen to differentiate!

And in your praise I'd like to say, he just pwned you by a few seconds, so!!! BRAVO Man!

I have to deal with that a LOT in Forza when am playing online, my fckin ****ty connection, most of the races I have to host and make sure collision is OFF. Which sucks!

Getting a new connection specially for GT5P, so it shouldnt happen.. But if that's an AI car... then!! DAMN... suxors!

I'm actually the GT-R that got slightly tagged about half way around the corner while making a risky pass, started losing control slightly, """lost it due to the curve""" (quoted text is really all that happened), hit 2 cars, one went flying the other is in the front side of my car, which is pushing me sideways along the barrier.

With 1 lap to go though, I won in about 6th position there, dropped to 9 with that car thats embedded in my front side and last car in picture and another white one just outside of picture passed me before getting up to speed.

LOL, Schumi pwn us all, but in my defense I have to say that that lap was done just 5 minutes after I bought the F1, now I feel more confortable in it.

I'm still waiting for that onboard Fuji video, but I think any comparison is useless, as I managed to do a 1.17.6~ lap almost effortless, and according to this site, Kimi's fastest lap was a 1.19.1, 1+ seconds slower.
