A woman trying to walk home, not involved in protests or riots, just walking home, came upon a police blockade on her route home.

The funny thing is those in the hood will not be afraid to use their weapons if police/people start going into their neighborhoods whilst the good 'ol boys are usually all bark, no bite because only 1 of these groups in America, actually understands what it means to grow up where violence is taught how to be lived with. The other likes to assume the other side doesn't have guns to begin with.I’ve never been to LA, but I’m not sure people in the ‘hood that do have guns will be onboard for a civil war. If it starts creeping into good ‘ol boys territory then yeah, probably. However, it’s more likely for “good samaritans” to lend their harms to make sure it doesn’t creep outside of the Skid Row.

He's not an idiot. He just plays one on TV. But seriously he knows exactly what he is doing. He is following the orders of the powers that should not be. IMOI'm praying it won't happen, but the Dumold seems like he can't wait to start airstrikes. This fool is absolutely a complete idiot.
Well you can't tell him anything, he won't listen. See, he's got that ego where he thinks he has the world under control and safe. Ummm, no. What's it going to take for Mr Trump to wake up and face the reality of this situation?I'm praying it won't happen, but the Dumold seems like he can't wait to start airstrikes. This fool is absolutely a complete idiot.
Let's hope we're not on the brink of civil war but at this point it wouldn't surprise me.
I don't disagree. All I've got is name calling because the clean up, government wise, is going to be big. However, he really is an old dude that doesn't give an ass rats... and he's said that, using different words. He's not an idiot. He just plays one on TV. It's nice to hear a Democrat representative acting like she actually gives a **** about what's happening to the US economy.
Unfortunately Hegseth's plan seems to be to do nothing and keep blaming Biden for the next four years.
Hopefully this video works for you guys. I don't want to have to post from X if I can help it.
Teeny-tiny airquotes around honorableThat nameplate is false advertising. There's nothing honorable about that rat.

It already is a civil war.I don't advocate for violence and would never do so on this website. But I do advocate for States' rights as it is in the Constitution, and therefore on this American website I can say that I strongly believe California and any authorities that California's Governor can muster should defend their state's rights and their people (a different constitutional term from citizen) from the Federal government at all costs.
Let's hope we're not on the brink of civil war but at this point it wouldn't surprise me.
Whoa there, Schumer showing a spine? 🤯Schumer will send a strongly worded letter.
No. He just has a template ready to use for almost every situation to cover bare minimum.Whoa there, Schumer showing a spine? 🤯

A Republican lawmaker in the South Carolina House has been charged with 10 counts of distributing child sexual abuse material.
RJ May was arrested on Wednesday at his home in Lexington County. His arrest on the federal charges was the culmination of a lengthy investigation into his internet activities. He appeared in federal court on Thursday.
According to an indictment, the three-term Republican used several screen names, including the one referencing former President Joe Biden - "joebidennnn69" - while exchanging CSAM files on the Kik social media network.
He'll be pardoned before July 4th if he reaches out to Trump on social media.![]()

Or if his mum goes to a million dollar per person lunch that Trump hosts at Mar-a-Lago.He'll be pardoned before July 4th if he reaches out to Trump on social media.

Anyway, the indictment is...I guess interesting?PedoCon Theory.
PedoCon Theory, PedoCon Theory, PedoCon Theory, PedoCon Theory, PedoCon Theory.
What does it say about Republicans that they're so beholden to their pedophile bitch king? Turns out you don't have to go by only that.
I don't think so. The Proud Morons are already saying give them authority and they'll go further than ICE in regards to protests. They would've jumped with glee if they were told to get the pardon, they had to work for ICE.
I will agree that the ability for private citizens to generate wealth that encroaches on national sovereignty is fundamentally destabilizing.Sure, it’s principled and “fair” if billionaires are taxed at the same rate as everyone else. But there are equities to be weighed in a modern, civilized democracy, and for practical purposes wealth isn’t an infinite sum game either.
This is not the same as claiming billionaires are a cancer. I agree that extreme wealth for an individual, though I don't set the threshold at 1 billion usd, is potentially destabilizing.Musk is the poster child for this; he obtained and spent his fortunes without any extralegal means by and large (though unethically at times). But the propensity for billionaires like Musk to inflict grave harms onto our sociopolitical life is much greater than it is for altruism. At a certain point extreme wealth has to be restricted.
It starts to get weird what it means to even have money, income, or what at that wealth level. Which is why our government is so bad at taxing them. It's not helpful to pretend that this is an easy issue, or that it's black and white. This is actually a very challenging problem and filled with shades of grey. Which is why it's so important that we handle it (instead of ignoring it like we do), but with a lot of intelligence and care.It absolutely is specific to billionaires/the uber-rich, though. Sure, they have the highest nominal tax rates. But the amount of loopholes and writeoffs and deductions made available to them, oftentimes bought by their own wealth, makes many billionaires pay an effective tax rate lower than the middle class.
Making money on money is not necessarily wealth attained via speculation. It's investment, and it does produce. If you're making money on your money, it's because the money is valuable. I agree that pure speculation (which is not generally what we're talking about here), is not automatically economically profitable. Gambling is gambling.Wealth attained via speculation does not equate to productive economic output. That’s mostly what I meant. Nothing contradictory about that whatsoever.
"We are not involved in strikes against Iran and our top priority is protecting American forces in the region," Rubio said. "Let me be clear: Iran should not target U.S. interests or personnel."
While the US has so far publicly distanced itself from the Israeli operation, Iranian state TV was quick to point the finger at Washington, accusing it of being "complicit" in an attack that has "killed children".
