Daring to suggest just "forgetting" about Jeffrey Epstein and "moving on" is just more reason why these ***** should be in the ground.

Never mind the doublethink of the supposed list not existing and also not needing to be published. I'm sure the Lock Her Up brigade who have been pursuing the Epstein list and investigation will suddenly have no interest in it now because the cult leader said so. Drones.

All did was use the hypnosis trigger words "Biden" and "Democrats". That automatically soothes his followers that feel like they've been lied to.

Can only go to that well so many times before it dries up. When it comes to MAGA there is a larger reserve but it isn't infinite.

I read an article recently quoting a senior MAGA faithful as saying something like "It's almost as if he's a liar, or hiding something, or he's complicit, but..."

Occasionally, MAGA catches faint glimpses of reality, even if briefly. Soooo close!!

My theory (which, admittedly veers into conspiracy land) is that the Epstein deal is bigger than Trump himself and has significant foreign policy implications...

See? Now the Epstein talk is the “Democrat’s hoax”. Plus, he’s saying some Republicans are being duped into believing it. Hmm, riiiight the Republicans that unanimously voted Yea to not release the files.
Dude owns the Republicans and still complains. Dude is gifted the presidency and still complains. Deflecting with “Sleepy stoopid Joe Biden” and thinking trying to use slight of hand with the economy will shut people up.

Looks like Mad TV certainly had thier finger on the pulse with the Darlene McBride - Take Back America Tour.

Popped it in a spoiler as, while clearly it’s comedy, some may find it offensive and Racist.

Quite the gamble to turn on your own core support and call them a bunch of 'weaklings' - those 'weaklings' put you in power Donald, and many of them are not averse to using physical force to rid themselves of elected leaders they don't like...

They'll lap it up. Just like they lapped up being called antifa actors and liberals when 6th January attempted insurrection occurred.

Prove me wrong...

No MAGA wants to be thought of as a weakling. Its just a tactic to shut the dissenters up.

People usually stop looking away once kids are involved. Don't know if this will bring him down, but he's certainly under pressure here.

He used to run a teen beauty pageant. That's all voters really needed to know. His friendship with Epstein should have just been confirmation of his creepiness towards young girls. It's all been puplic knowledge for 30 years.

Why's it taken the 'Epstein List' - something Maga originally weaponised against the Democrats, to make his voters wake up and smell the coffee?

Because it was a tangible item. At least in their eyes. He then decided to push for it more but realized he'd shoot himself in the foot so he told everyone to pretend it doesn't exist. He doesn't care about anyone else named, but I'd be surprised if he could order anything released without implicating himself.

George Retes, 25, who works as a security guard at Glass House Farms in Camarillo, said he was arriving at work on July 10 when several federal agents surrounded his car and — despite him identifying himself as a U.S. citizen — broke his window, peppered sprayed him and dragged him out.

“It took two officers to nail my back and then one on my neck to arrest me even though my hands were already behind my back,” Retes said.

Once again, it is increasingly likely that someone, not some rando crazy destined to fail but someone with legitimate grievance and possibly military training, is going to put the Fake Bake™ pedo bitch down...

...and I think that's beautiful.

I do think that the Epstein cover-up is pinning it to Trump in a way that supporters wouldn't stand for before. They thought Epstein was automatically about liberals, and now it's inescapably linked with Trump.
Of course it always was, but it's more difficult than ever for the idiot base to dismiss it. Thinkin' about worthless Trumper (but I repeat myself) @BobK attempting to validate conspiracy theories alleging Epstein was killed by the Clintons and using another conspiracy theory, the "Clinton Body Count" (also "Arkancide"), propagated by fat bitch Jerry Falwell through VHS tapes advertised in the back pages of connie rags, when it was Trump with a very public relationship with Epstein, it was Trump that publicly acknowledged Epstein's preference for those "on the younger side," it was Trump that appointed Alex Acosta, the prosecutor that illegally gave Epstein a non-prosecution deal, to Labor Secretary, and it was Trump that saw, through Barr, that Epstein was indicted again and detained before "suicide."

Now I still don't actually think that Trump had Epstein killed and I don't actually think Trump's relationship with Epstein involved child sexual abuse (which isn't to say that the former didn't engage in such), but those are actual real facts listed above and you'd have to be the sort of sycophantic idiot that would concoct a delusional hypothetical in which Trump walks on water like the Jesus myth only to have him be criticized by Democrats for not being able to swim in order to dismiss them.

Neither of these is a particularly wild stretch though. It could be a simple as that Trump's not exactly sure how old someone was, but that it was obviously borderline. Trump may have even purposefully tried to make sure that he was not aware of such details. But that creates a situation where he's not sure what he can be accused of or what evidence would show. It has also come to light that acts which may have appeared consensual may not have been. And that also creates a situation where he's not sure what he can be accused of or what evidence would show.

It's not really necessary for Trump to be guilty of child sexual abuse in his own mind for him to be concerned about what's on the record.

What we know about Trump is that he has an affinity for exactly the kind of thing that Epstein provided.

I guess this is good news.
Can you precis what the good news is? I've little appetite for watching a 10-minute video that might force that buffoon's senility drawl over my eardrums, or see it moving like a Jim Henson creation from Labyrinth.

I'm more shocked that they're not just fabricating a list and releasing that. Even if whistleblowers and other people with knowledge push back on it, we've already seen how in a situation with any ambiguity Trump's supporters will always have his back.

It's interesting how in so many respects they're "succeeding" by not adhering to traditional norms, but in this case they have a very traditional aversion to lying outright.

In short, Ro Khanna is introducing a bipartisan bill to release the Epstein files. Several Republicans have signed on to vote for it, but can’t force the vote until September.
