Haha, I actually had been driving around Laguna Seca without losing grip at all (M3 is such a nice handling car), but then I thought I'd just go a little crazy with the e-brake, and lo and behold, you can power slide around turns on Laguna Seca without spinning out. Surprisingly, I could go around a few of the turns faster with power slides, but it wouldn't be of much use in endurance races. I thought it was so awesome at the time. Thus, the photo.

@gogatrs I know I'm 10 hp short of the regs, but I was in the 1:24s on Laguna Seca already and thought I'd see how other ppl compared before I made it any faster. Right now, the car has everything installed except for an after-market exhaust.

@MitchZ06 Lovely pics. Another racer dressed all in black? And I thought I was going to be special. JK :P

Kinda forgot about this with psn going down, lol. I still have a lmp seat? hmmm... either a BMW V12 or the Speed 8 will be my car.

So will 580/900 work?
 
No, because the newer LMP cars are over 900kg (908 is 930kg, R10 is 925kg) it balances every car pretty well and makes them all competitive. Power wise its gotta be the same across the board.

BTW, I set up a photobucket account and decided to upload some of my pics from the Rennsport Reunion a few years back.

Because they're proven even, they were tested by someone else well versed in driving LMPs as a potential future spec for the LMES.

I'd highly recommend trying to get to one of these at some point.
They used to be at Lime Rock way back in the day, but then grew too big.
 
Migt be a little confusion as to what car I'm driving. I know I've been seen taking out the vette and the GTR out on the track. But just to make sure, I'll be running the Gallardo again to properly defend the championship. :)
 
I am still wanting to run in this league. LMP 908 either livery. ;)
 
After some testing, I'm a bit more consistent with the Bentley Speed 8 so will be going with that. Looking forward to the race.
