Aren't we racing tonight?

And I ran the same pace last season at Daytona Road Course and won from consistency even though the RGT ran 1:45s and a certain Aussie/NZer made some mistakes. :sly:
 
I think we need a clear idea of who's driving what after this race. I like the ford. I like it a lot. But if FH me and kakarot all drove them that'd make 3 which is against the rules. Maybe FH and me could run as a non-factory team?

The Jag has potential but I don't know if that potential lies with me. I have a tune that makes it corner well, but as a result it spins very easily.

And then there's LMP2...though if it's gatrs and Jav I don't know how well I'd fare. Probably better to let another couple of pros in to make the competition close.
 
If you guys are having a practice round tonight, what time is it?

I'd like to stay in the Ford but if there is no room I can make the jump to LMP2. Looks like thats the only class that will have any kind of room right now.
 
I can go to LMP2 if no one else want to go:tup:

If you do that I'll likely keep the ford. If not I don't know, depends on what gatrs allows.

And I'll show up to a practice if I'm home tonight 👍
 
A bit off-topic, but is dry lap averages 3:30s and wet lap averages 4:00s decent? I'm wondering about this on Le Mans (using 787B).

Car choices are going to be sent to me via PM. Please PM me your top 3 choices, no less just to be safe. Note that these choices can be different classes as well.

You will be chosen in the order that youve posted in the thread. Whoever posted first gets priority.
That will also be the method we use for deciding who gets priority in the room.
The first four LMP drivers to post, the first four LMP2 drivers to post, and the first eight GT drivers.
Yes we are going with LMP2 over GTC since there's been slightly more interest in it.

There will be a preseason race this Friday at the usual time at Eiger Nordwand G Trail. Don't be afraid if you miss it.

You can send PM's starting at 6:00 PM EST tonight.
 
Gogatrs, I would like to ask you then to update the OP with the LMP2 cars, because I am not sure as to which cars are included in this class.

Either way, I will PM you as soon as my clock hits 9:00PM [time diff] with my choice.

Like I said, I won't duke it out with FH over the Ford. I was interested in it and have a good tune, but I'd rather just fit in where I can. It's up to him.

Looking at the first two pages, it looks like we can team up in the Ford. :) Unless some of the ones before me decide to sway from their original choice.

That would be ideal for me, I'd love to team up, though I initially signed up in GTC and I think the kakarot person was the first to claim the Ford GT. Maybe. I don't even know anymore. lol.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding gatrs' intent though. Is it just whoever POSTED as an entrant first gets their current first choice (even if different from the one they wanted initially)?
 
Here's my choices:

1) Ferrari 458 Italia
2) Any of the Pescarolos (specific?)
3) Ford GT

The 458 definitely is a good car for me but so is the Ford. Both are nicely consistent but I prioritize the Italia more. LMP2 class will be interesting too. Gonna have to experiment between the Pescarolos.

I thought of the same thing but I forgot to mention it when I read up on Coldplay's blogs.

And I hope not Le Mans. Getting quite tired of it from +16 hours of laps :yuck:
 
Knowing Gatrs. Its gonna start at night, in the rain, tire choice restricted to comforts. :(

That's actually a good idea. Anybody else in on this track?
We dint have to do Le Mans if nobody else wants to. We could do Nurb GP? :p
I'm all ears if anybody has a suggestion.
 
A custom track maybe? The only drawback is that we're kind of out of time to practice in any unknown track.

From Real World Tracks, I vote for Fuji too, even though I don't like this track a lot.
