A custom track maybe? The only drawback is that we're kind of out of time to practice in any unknown track.

From Real World Tracks, I vote for Fuji too, even though I don't like this track a lot.

Trial Mountain or Grand Valley could work as well.
 
Maybe.. some fast laps at High Speed Ring?
 
*Gasp* Nurburgring 24 Hour! :D or Monza... But no night/day cycle on Nurb 24? And save the good schtuff for the real race? And add it to the schedule? We did it last season and it was a fun race for me. And maybe keep the time cycle? Idk...

cause for some reason most people can't even handle 2 laps on it.....i think day/night with a slight chance of rain would be fun lol

I just don't like the ring. I've tried, I swear I've tried to like it. Every lap just makes me hate it more.

But I don't get a say because I won't be here ;)
 
I love The Ring! I always go to it when I try out new cars.

I guess people dislike it because it's... The Green Hell :sly:

Also because of the winding narrow "straights" where your depth perception is off, you're always a gear too high or passed by every last soul and any inch in the wrong direction has you spinning. You don't know how you did for 7 or more minutes, and if it starts raining just, just freaking forget it. There's nowhere to actually pass another car, nor are you usually NEAR another car, the gear ratio you think is getting you a good time goes out the window on the infinitely long straight before the start/finish...

i wouldnt mind Fuji since its not on the schedule for the season, while the ring is. im fine with whichever tho, im just a lil upset because i spent the past 2 days preparing for daytona and now i gotta put it on hold :P
 
I see no problems other than passing GT traffic and it's a track I know well so I'm fine with it.

Good points, but it's one of the best cruising courses in the game, esp. in the morning ;)

longer track = less GT traffic! but you do got a point, GT traffic will probably only get passed once or twice by the LMP if we would go for lets say 10 or 15 laps
 
I remember last seasons Nurb 24H Enduro with a full night/day cycle was long, 1 1/2 right? Or was it 1 3/4 hour? I think 1.5 :)

Probly 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It wasn't a very good race for me. Started off pretty wrong, ended pretty wrong. At least LMPs are more risky than GTs.

Half the people saying Nurburgring won't even finish. Gatrs I can't PM you, but I'd like the Bentley or the 908 team Peugeot.

Gatrs I have a question to ask- It's been said that LOTUS are going to be in the ALMS next year, so is it possible to homologate an EVORA for GT? If so, I'll switch to it and run GT!

Because of the popular GT crowd that might not be a bad idea... But why would the Nurb guys not finish?
