Can we get any kind of heads up on what the weather settings will be like at Suzuka? Or at least if we are going to start in the rain or not? I messed up big time with tire choice when we raced at Spa.

Who knows? ;)

There won't be any rain at the start, but the weather change will be set to five.

My attempt at pictures, sorry i paid more attention to the GT class but i tried to give everyone some love

Start of the race, look how nicely formed we are!

Sorry guys for being absent, social life and trying to woo sponsors to help get a drive for next season have taken over my Saturdays...

Yea guys I don't know if i'll be racing for a while because last night I was tuning the R10 to see if I should maybe jump to the LMP class and my Ps3 YLOD. 👎:grumpy::guilty:

YouTube.com/ylod it works. You can take it apart and get your game out. All you need is a heat gun and component silacone. If you do it right it will last for awhile.

I was thinking about doing the blow dryer trick to get the game out and back up my data and send it to sony so they can fix it.

And per the paint job, matte black was a good choice ;)

That matte black does look good! We should get both of em on the track and get some pics up. Gotta get some publicity photos for the the team.

After the game today (around 4) I should be able to get on and start practicing. I'll be doing some laps for Jav's league. Since its at Daytona Road Course, I think the only thing I need to do is dial in the transmission and maybe adjust some suspension settings. But after that I should be able to focus on Suzuka. I cant wait to start this race. We should def. shine here.

Here's my pics I took just now. Some could've been better, but meh:

There's a couple I have to retake and will probably do those later.

Thanks for taking a pic of my Jag. Too bad it wasn't where I wanted it to be compared to the competition.
Dude, do not worry. I've taken up the rear of this series for at least two seasons. :yuck:

Props for a.) racing clean with some really fast guys (not me) and
b.) doing it in one of the harder cars to race in.

My strategy is to just stay clean and consistent, and hope for someone to hit the dirt or for me to get a few spots on pit strategy haha. As you can see I was dead last from a few mistakes and then I went up and down when others pitted/you DNFed/etc. It happens. People disconnect from the matrix and vanish into mid air. People wreck during aggressive racing and sometimes when you're just on their tail for a while they get nervous and one mistake, boom you're past. I was having an awful, frustrating and boring race for large chunks of Daytona. I considered rage quit but then developed the double-stint strategy--as soon as I saw all the GT guys pit I decided to tack on an extra 5-10 laps and get into the top 5 for a bit. The beamer driver (Thursday's friend) passing me in the last 5 seconds made me so mad but it was the most exciting part of a race I've had in this whole series.

I'm sure you know what's going on this is just from my perspective. Anyway keep racing with us. After one season go back to random rooms and you'll see how much better you are 👍

lol Takata green wheels on a Ferrari. it's different.

Hmmm yes that is original. Maybe someone original came up with a way to replicate the tequila patron color scheme from ALMS 458s. Hmmm I wonder who that could have been. 💡

TT13, a good strategy in endurance is to wait right behind someone to make them nervous when you have a faster car, unless you can easily pass on a straight. At the end, though, I wanted that position. After spinning on the bus stop and a bad pit strategy along with a penalty for entering the pits too fast, I didn't mind spinning on bus stop again, because I had nothing to lose. My friend and I stared laughing because we knew that if it were either of us in that position, we'd be soooo mad.

Also, Thursday, are you going to race the Pescarolo then?

The only bad thing for me on Enduros is pit strategy. I'd thought Kevin had more grip than me when I pitted before he told me we had the same levels. After pitting the 2nd time I dropped to 4th, so I got kinda mad.

While I battling out with Kevin I allowed him to pass me on several corners so 1) Either of us will cause a commotion, and 2) To draft him on the straights. This tactic kept us in constant lead changes, which was very fun.

This race was also one of the first that I didn't have much records of major crashes. I think I had two wipeouts on the 1st turn and a potential one at the Bus Stop.

Yea I would've finished the race but it seemed like there was no point because I kept losing time to the GT field because I was either pushing too hard and going wide or I would purposely go wide to let a LMP pass and they would rather just stay inside and make me lose even more time. That is also why I was testing the R10 to hopefully race it at Suzuka but then my ps3 YLOD'd.

yeah i knew it would come down to pit strategy, so i forced myself to stay out at least until the halfway point. only i forgot because of the LMP class that we werent going to run the full 44 laps, so i should have pitted at the end of lap 20 instead of 23 because i think the race ended for us on lap 39.
