KentThe key to all of the carbon-R's success in my tests is Racing Tires...
With sport tires you can't get the traction for full engine use...
A racing tire equipped carbon-R could be the fastest "tuner" in the game.
What suggestions do you all have for comparisons under the "racing tire" circumstances?
SilverEclipse01First of all Kent, thanks for singing the Carbon R's praises. In my first experience, I was totally put off by this car's behavior. But after reading through this thread, I decided to pop on some race slicks and try it again. All I can say is WOW!![]()
The race slicks make a huge difference. In my first race, I took it against the JGTC corps in the Japan GT championship series. It won easily. Now I am looking to refine the settings and look for more challenges in races that I can use the slicks.
I don't consider this a tuner car anymore...it's my new favorite race car!
KentYou would be amazed with how many people think they can answer questions like this without doing any real work in the game.
So hey, thanks for actually looking into the subject before posting. 👍![]()
SilverEclipse01Absolutely no problem at all. I have spent so much time making databases of all of the vehicles in the game that I am finally getting the chance to get out and drive/race all of them and find all of their characteristics. I thought that just by looking at their stats i could understand them all, but man have I misunderstood so many of them.
Now I am having fun with all of the unfortunate misunderstood garage cars. Heck, I even found out that the Land Rover is actually pretty good at rallying! You know, I might even have to change my sig now...
GreycapI don't have the S2000 GT1 yet. Can somebody please tell me if it is as good as it was in Gran Turismo 2? If it is, there will not be many cars that can match it.
