When it comes to having F1 in GT, we'd gladly have anything over nothing right? I mean we aren't THAT bad to the extent that we wouldn't except nothing short of a full 2011 grid are we?
There is a potential way that Polyphony could legitimately have more than one F1 car, potentially more than a grids worth in the game : a BOSS GP license.
For those of you who don't know, BOSS GP (Big Open Single Seaters) is a championship run Klaas Zwart, owner of Ascari Cars, which allows owners of pre-2004 F1 cars and recent IRL, GP2, ChampCar and F3000 cars to compete on a level playing field, like a more modern Thoroughbred Grand Prix series. Now Polyphony could stick to the pre-2004 rule or they could exploit it to include more newer cars as that would not constitute an illegal F1 race, it would constitute a BOSS GP race.
What do you guys think?
More info for those of you how may not have heard of BOSS GP: http://www.bossgp.com/
