Hi Guys
I rubber banded my Escudo for the Super Speedway & now my left Analog on my Logitech cordless controller is sticking. Any ideas on freeing it up ?:ouch:
Cheers Ozi

Rubber banded it?

The standard practice is to do it the other way, of course! Or, if you wrap up the cord for your controller, you can wedge the stick under there and when you do play again, hopefully it will correct itself a bit.

Honestly, the controllers are not exactly built for that.

Sheesh, how about forgetting the Excuseo and actually driving the damn race? :yuck: I did Super Speedway in a Cobra Mustang! Then Idid it again in a Civic.

It's actually a challenging & fun race to accomplish (with a lot of drama) if you do it the right way. After awhile you begin to forget that you're only making 2 left turns the entire race...

What else is the Escudo good for if not for doing wheelies or rubber banding it ? LOL
BTW I have done this boring race in several cars & is boring boring & found the rubber band thread & as I want a black Clio race car , I thought I would give it a go & won another dam F1 car . Now back to my problem , can I use a silicone spray or something ?
Cheers Ozi

Silicone will likely damage the internals, mainly the sensors that allow the sticks to be used in the game.

The Escudo is a formidable rally racer, with light throttle control... VERY light throttle control.

I'm with you mate, i tried rubber banding it a couple of weeks ago but it kept going off the corner and into the pits, i'll try it again. :banghead:

As for the controller sticking, i use a standard DS2, and i just had to spend $50 on a new one (:banghead:) because the X and triangle buttons was sticking on my old one. If it's the analog stick, try rapidly moving it, if that doesn't work, pulling it apart should. I did that with my old one and the analog stick part is pretty easy to take apart and put back together, just don't take the rest of the buttons off, because, trust me, you'll have a hell of a time getting it back together. :grumpy:

You're not challenging yourself then. Trust me...try doing Super Speedway in a Civic ...make sure the Elise and S2000 show up in the Ai lineup. And then come back and tell me if it was still boring.

You have to put the rubber band on the steering too & wall ride the whole way & that's what caused my problem 💡
I also now use an old corded controller .

And Parnelli, I can find better things to do rather than going around in circles for over an hour:yuck: And I suppose you even like the Test Track :yuck:
BTW Naughty me even use the rubber band on the also dead boring Test Track .[even though I have had my closest finishes there ]

And superberkut , My controller is starting to come good with use as you said
As I was trying to gold the S licence on Seattle track in the GT40 it kept sticking as I was going thru to first cnr [did I say Gold even Silver OK LOL ]:scared::scared:
BTW I got my black Clio race car :sly::sly::sly::sly::sly:
Many thanks for all suggestions .

As my mom used to say when I was a kid, "you never know until you try". Sounds like you never tried it.

Wrong. I don't like test track races...they're boring. I used to skip them if I had enough championship points. The whole "Like The Wind" event was such a disappointment. The dumb cars in this race take a pitstop!

Like I have said I have done this race several times :yuck:
First a fully upgraded R34 /then stock power, 230 Kompressor & I even think I have done it in a Miata , but I will leave the Civic to you :indiff::indiff:
