Animated Gif Drift Vids

I guess I'll make a thread on it but I'm currently in the middle of entertaining a new way of showing drift vids here. What this entails is converting the vid to an animated gif but getting it small enough to post on here without having to d/l it. What do people think about this? BTW, I'm not that great in drifting because I don't do it a lot anymore but I'll post my own vids here.

Yeah... part of the reason I like this idea is exactly for people that DON'T have HS connections but want to be able to view someones stuff. It's also less work than trying to host it too. The only draw back is creativity and sound would be compromised.

i have real crappy bandwidth myself..

I think the .gif would make a nice way to "preview" a video.. much like thumbnails..

get's some highlights of the video and decide if it's worthwhile to get the full thing etc..

I think it will have to be more of a "preview" video rather than a substitute for actual vids, I haven't been able to get a whole lap in and keep the file size down to where I can post it here.

which program would you use to create animated GIF's? Could photoshop work?

I think photoshop does it but I don't know how... I'm using Adobe Premiere.

not bad not bad. but the vid (GIF) seems laggy. no sound. but.. not bad. maybe you can work little bit more. keep us updated

it's a gif... of course it has not sound... A gif is simply a moving picture frame by frame by frame..
