This is the UK feedback form for Sony. It 's not like we're going to force an early release of the game or anything but at least we can register our anger... :ouch:

Exactly outside of Asia they only need to release it in Spanish and English really and everybody would cope...

I was going to fill in the form... then i realised that after a 18 month delay - they probably don't give a s**t what their customers think, and just want another opportunity to send me more crap in the post and spam my email with info about stuff that i don't want.
 
Just goes to show KY is full of $hit, he basicly said the game wouldn't have online because infrastructure problems in europe... guess that delay takes care of that theory, the US is STILL not getting online mode even though the game has been officially delayed in europe, he could've just said:
"we rather have photo mode and B-Spec instead of online, we didn't invest half the resources in online than we did on those two modes, and now, there's no way we can ship the game in december with a mode we worked so little on."

That, i could respect, even as bad as it sounds. But to blame it on "network infrastrucutre" is kinda hard to belive, specially these days when setting up massive servers is easier and cheaper than ever.
want to know wats even more hilarious? just because the game is delayed in europe, it doesn't mean it will be getting online, if they are delaying the game and missing the hollydays, then whats the point in shiping an incomplete game in europe just like in the US / Japan?
That's a question Magazine editors should be asking PD.
I think this pretty much confirms what i've suspected all along, blaming no online on "network problems" is nothing but Bull$hit.
 
My time is very valuable to lose it with this complaining form that never will be answered... :crazy:
I prefer to play GT3 :D ...

the U.K needs to pull out of the E.U anyway, to much beureaucratic (sp?) crap decisions made by useless has beens.

GT4 is being delayed in Europe due to translation problems, not online problems. Get a clue.

As has been said in other threads, translations of games is nothing new. Its not like its the latest Final Fantasy game with piles & piles of text. I mean yeah the cars might have descriptions that scroll in GT3 but that won't take long for each one by a proffesional team of translators, let alone how many delays this game has had. (And I feel I should emphasize again HL2 was less delayed than GT4 in EU atleast)

As for what PD/Sony/KY say, they also said that the online problems had been solved :rolleyes: a while back.

I bet even when it does come out the translations will be bollocks as usual.

Same here, so far we have gotten NOTHING out of the whole EU thing, while our country itself is coing with a lot of problems at the moment, the government is too busy worrying about others..

Anyways, I don't believe this whole localisation scam. Surely they could release an English PAL version at the normal release date? I don't want to be screwed because some other people refuse to read English. And if they give bull**** about equal rights in the European countries, and that every person deserves the game at the same time, why are America and Japan getting the game that early then?

I want feedback from Polyphony Digital. Not just some scrummy articles. They have to face the fans, and be able to look them in the eye when they give a reason for ANY delay. IF there is any truth about all this and not a mixup with the online and offline versions.

I'm already planning to break into my local TA base, steal a few mortars and SA80 A2 rifles. And then go hunt some SCEE (Stupid Common Euro Elves).

Anyway, Dev_Zero said something about PD needing to face the music, and I agree. I expect KY and co at my house next thursday, noonish, with a free copy of GT4 and the keys to his Ford GT.

If they were a rookie studio releasing a big game for the first time, or if their publisher wasn't familiar with the lay of the land, it would be a semi-legit excuse.

As it stands, it's just ridiculous.

P.S.: IGN JUST CHANGED THEIR RELEASE DATE TO MARCH 05! 👎

IGN lists NTSC dates, I should add.

No, but every one of any importance does. Does anyone realy care about the French, they refuse to use any other language than their own, I say **** em.



What annoys me about the repeated delays is that PD had the nerve to say they hopped for a release before Christmass, when it must have been very obvious to them that they couldn't deliver by then. A 3 month delay has appeared out of nowhere, did they loose all of the source code or something and have started from scratch. I could understand if they were only a few weeks of a month wrong, but this is rediculous.

Two big markets could be served with an "English only" PAL version, and everyone with an IQ>80 could import and play the English version in the other countries of the EU. What is PD damned waiting for?

Could it be a marketing issue to have GT4 released at the same time as Forza in Europe? That would be disgusting :yuck:
