Yes! I'm big into mixing. I've got a set of Technics SL1200 MKII's (original and best)...
... back home in the UK with a Citronic mixer and some big Jamo speakers, but it's all too much of a hassle to ship/bring out to Hong Kong so I've not been able to play them for seven years!
Right now I'm using a Vestax VCI-100...

... running Traktor LE...
... and coming through a single i-Key M808 monitor...
When I go back to England in May I might either get a flight case and bring my turntables back or sell them and buy them again over here. Either way if I do get some proper t/tables set up here I will also get Serato Scratch Live as I've been able to find all my favourite music from the early to mid 90's on MP3 format. It would cost me thousands of pounds to get them all on vinyl although a do have a good few hundred records back in England.
What do I play? My passion is early 90's Hardcore, Jungle and Drum and Bass but I don't really like much made after 1996. I also thoroughly enjoy Electro, Tech House and Minimal kind of stuff, but for me it's just not fun to mix as it's mostly at about 128 bpm and doesn't really present much of a challenge. Personally, I love chopping up tunes on the crossfader which I feel old jungle and hardcore is perfect for! The Vestax is an awsome bit of kit and the feeling of the little turntables is uncanny, but at the end of the day it's just missing the feeling of flicking through a crate of records getting that sexy vinyl out of the sleeve and throwing it on a turntable. I miss that a lot!
See my last comment mate. There's nothing that beats the feeling of vinyl mixing, but these days with MP3 and the likes of awesome sites like Beatport, digital music is so accessible. IMO if you have the cash to spend get a set of Technics SL1210's a simple mixer and Serato Scratch Live that way you get the best of both worlds - playing all your digital music using vinyl. It's not cheap but well worth it!
EDIT: Hmmm, I have just realised this thread is quite old!
