Well us hillbillies are not that edumacated to use all these new fangled periods and comas and such so i'm sorry . They make a thing called live traps that you can use then call animal control or just report all the cats or dogs to animal control . It's a little more humane dont you think.

Alot of younger people from the city think its just fun to kill things for the hell of it. My father would have beat my @$$ off if did that.But like i said i'll try to be a better poster in the future.

Well, I can't afford traps, and the animal control/humane society refuses to come outside the city limits, because they figure it's not their problem.

And no, I honestly don't believe leaving an animal in a cage barely large enough for it to move around where it's forced to sit in it's own **** and piss (Yes, that's how it is, I had to clean the cages at the humane society before) for weeks at a time is not more humane than putting it out of it's misery.

I don't kill the cats unless I have to. I own a cat, and I know how much I care about my cat, and treat my cat like another member of the family. When I see someone not feeding their cats, and leaving them outside all the time, it pisses me off.

Let me ask you this, if someone in your neighborhood had a box full of kittens, half dead, half alive and starving, sick, and very well on their way to death, what would you do? Give the owner a stern talking to?

I'd grab em around the back of the neck and give'm the ol' *snap*,.... a very quick, very humane death. Then I'd sell them to the Korean Cafe' on the corner.

man ive always wanted to go hunting, but i dont thing i could kill a deer then have to field dress it. my dad owns a house out in the country. and yesterday we were out at the tank with his 22. and i would wait till i see turtles pop thier heads up and i would shoot at them. but i could never hit one. well i finally hit dead on to one. i say its side come up out of the water, then it went down and second later i said come way up out of the water, then it was gone. i felt bad kinda. hah.. i mean, i could kill something if i had too. but not sit there and shoot it in cold blood. but i see nothing wrong in hunting. just as long as u use all the meat and not shoot it just for a trophy. i know my steaks come from living breathing cows. just as long as im not the one hitting them over the head. but ya like deer meat. i had some veneson(sp?) steaks one time. they were pretty tasty.

Because you seem to contrdict yourself alot when confronted .I have seen this in more than one subject,And im not trying to put you down or anything.and all live traps i have seen are made of like a metal fence or sreen like material so if piss can stay in that its got some mean piss.

ya i know dude. its 100 acre property and theres no one around us. and the bank is like 6 feet above the water. plus i make sure to shoot down. ive never heard a bullet ricochette so i think im safe. so ok. RER!

If SS69 was shooting at a tree, and missed the tree, the effect of a bullet ricocheting off a pond would be identical, or even less, as the bullet would loose some force on the water.

Where do I contradict myself alot?

[Edit: I'm not talking about the traps - I'm talking about the humane society. The cage bottoms are concrete, and they have to live in there.]

Oh, and RER, even if you snap their neck, it doesn't always kill them instantly. And still, how is that more humane than a bullet? Your anti-gun sentiment is pathetic.

Your right,.. it's nothing personal,... I just hate hearing about irrisponsible behavior when it comes to guns. Ya, 99% of the time, the bullet wont ricochette,.. but when your responsible 100% of the time, theres no need to worry about the other 1%.

100% lead slugs ricochet less than 5% of the time. I've fired them straight into brick walls (Which is really dumb, but anyway) and they didn't ricochet at all, they just conformed to the "hole".
