I have heard lots of good things, but I read the 'Colour of Magic' and how should I put it...I hated it.
I'll stick to my Dale Brown's and Eoin Colfer.

TCOM and The Light Fantastic are mere introductory books. They give us the DiscWorld - and they are 20 years old... The rest of them are really rather good though.

Feet Of Clay, Jingo and Small Gods are must-reads. Small Gods is one of the few which happily stands on it's own, without reference to any previous books.
