Just wondering. I got lots of mixtapes I've downloaded and bought while I was in New York. The latest I got is with DJ Scope and another with DJ Hitz. Another I got was Cassidy versus Fabolous in a mixtape. Just wondering if there's rap heads around. I can't talk music with any one really any more

I don't know GT40.

But TwinTurbo, I listen to mainstream guys and some guys in the mainstream groups like in Dipset and stuff, but I listen to the songs that they DON'T release publicly. Like mixtapes basically. Some make it out and some just peek down to let the listeners enjoy something.

i'm a fan of rap. I listen to Immortal Technique, the old Jay-Z songs, the Game, some 50 cent and Eminem, NWA and Dre, Young Jeezy, and Kanye West. Also some Snoop Dogg etc...

I wish I bought some mixtapes when I still lived in NY.

Nas, Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Warren G, T.I., The Game, 50 cent, Eminem, Mos Def, DMX, RUM DMC, Jin Tha Emcee, Ghost Face Killa, Wu-tang. Should I say more?

I dont listen to as much rap now but Im more into the old skool/gangsta rap, Ive almost totally gone off the mainstream rap of today.
Im into NWA, Eazy E, Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Wu-tang, Ghostface, Methodman, 2pac, The Game, Compton's Most Wanted...you get the picture.

Im a huge fan of Grime I listen to that all the time. Its a bit like rap but with a UK flavour.

^^ I just download mixtapes from this site. They release there a little late, but I do get a hold of them when they do drop.

Check out Lethal Bizzle, Kano, Wiley. East London stylee mang.

i've got the dr. dre mixtapes from back in 87 if you would like to check them out. they're just old samplings from funk and soul songs. i don't know, i heard they were a big deal so i thought i would share the wealth.

People who likes rock tend to bash rap and vice versa. I enjoy a good variety of both. Im not really into new rap. Some of my fav rap artists include, pac, B.I.G, NWA, Mobb Deep(before G unit), etc.

I only like a couple of the newer rappers including The Game, TI, Clipse(if you can call them new)

Lethat Bizzle is crap its all about Boy Better Know. JME, Skepta and Wiley are right at the top of grime atm and I cant see that changing anytime soon...

I don't listen to rap often, but when I do it's usually Gang Starr, Immortal Technique, MF Doom, Common, or Jedi Mind Tricks (Even though they have some pretty weak choruses.)

There isn't much new that I like.

I've listened to a bunch of DJing stuff (particularly Ninja Tunes), which sometimes leans into hip hop tracks, so I've got a handful of rap bits here and there. This lead to the discovery of the only full rap album I own, Spank Rock - Yoyoyoyoyo. Interesting style, great beats and definite shop feel (I actually've been in numerous stores running Spank Rock in the foreground).

I used to like rap, atleast before it was ruined by cars with 20 inch rims and girls with promiscuous clothing, it's all the same. Snap yo fingers, put your right hand up, chicken noodle soup, they are all crap songs. There was once a time where rap songs were unique, and actually spoke about something other than driving a lamborghini with a voluptuous girls inside. Of course I like girls, but it's annoying that each rap video has the same bullcrap. It's the same macaroni, different cheese. 👎

A leaky boom boom down?

Word

This song I will always remember for a specific reason. About one month after I graduated from high school I moved to phoenix to start college. As I came down the hill from flagstaff the first radio station I picked up was playing this song. It was one of those my life is changing moments that I looked back on as being awesome.
