Am I alone on this? lol damnit...

Is there any news on polyphony possibly adding more touge related contents for us "minorities"?

You're not alone. Im happy the Amemiya RX-7 is in GT5, and Premium too! Classy Touge car

You're not alone. I have already designed a pretty hard touge track. It's really fun with blind turns and crazy elevation changes.

I love Touge, trying to build a monster GTR and S15 to use on the Touge, as well as a FD RX7. I could watch the Best Motoring Touge challenges all day, Tsuchiya and Orido sure now how to drive that track at max attack.

Cars, tracks, settings. What other "content" do you need? I'm happy :)

BTW I was a big GT4 drifter. I'm working on becoming in game wealthy right now though.

To tell you straight up

Narrow mountain courses racing from point A to B either uphill or downhill
w/ Weather and Night

I'll be hooked on GT5 forever if this becomes reality

GAME OF THE YEAR ALL YEAR

I have been in the drift community in So Cal since it started over here, I have seen several of these pro's work from grass roots to Formula D and some are friends lol

I remember when the Japanese used to come over to do D1 events, those were the days...I just picked up my Japanese edition PS3 today so I can now watch all my Japanese Option videos again!

Add me if you want to mess around drifting!

I would be in heaven if PD came up with a version of Fujimi Kaido, like Turn 10 did. That's one of my all-time favorite touge circuits...

I've never understoodthe appeal of touge and drifting. To me, they're all style and no substance, and drifting in particular doesn't even deserve to be considered a motorsport. I can't help but look at a drifter - even the professional ones - and think "Yeah, he's never worked so much as an hoest day in his life". It's like these people make a living out fo being lazy.

I love touge, and drifting is my passion, Im looking forward to some excellent sessions one I get the game :)

I would be interested in this although I don't know how to drift with my G27 setup. Any beginner events forming? :)

Time attack touge and drift touge is my passion too but theres no touge tracks in game :(

Don't forget Tsuchiya's Hachiroku 👍

Another enthusiast here! I remember someone mentioning the re amemiya rx 7. Looks great, but I really hope there will be the inclusion of the Apexi drift rx7 next time. My absolute favorite.

Im one too! And r34s are lazy, drift a 86 or bluebird thats where it started! haha. But anyone starting like a club? tandem would be awesome! you cant post own courses can you? PSN: Rovered78 im hooked on this game

I bought s15 premium to be a base for my first a drift car.(the premium one) Is there drift events in A-spec mode? I have also other s15(standard) for grip racing but it also drifts ok. I think i will do some drifting videos to my youtube channel in some point. There is so much to do in the game and drifting has not yet been offered by challenges or A-spec events to me.

Post pictures of your drift and touge tracks here and paste also settings how to do them. Can you share tracks within game?

Great thing about GT5s physics is that I can actually drift again! Started a couple days ago and am getting it down pretty well. (with a controller) I'll be posting some drifting shots I snapped on Monday when I get to work.

Should have the internet soon, then I'll join everyone for some online fun.

I am into drifting here in Idaho. The scene really only got started here this year but it expanded. Still getting the hang of it in game though.

For fun drifto session

For all your touge needs, try making yourself a Mt. Aso custom track with medium to narrow roads and very high complexity/turn sharpness.

feels pretty good.

I know I probably won't change your mind but I don't get at all what you're saying. If you don't understand the appeal of it or don't like it thats fine. But then I'm sure you love racing on the Nürburgring ?
Touge is just tight corners and mountain roads racing maybe not as fast as for example the nürburgring but with a lot of tight corners and elevation changes as well.

Further I would agree that drifting in particular is not racing since it is a judged motorsport and it's not just about being the fastest (although it is pretty important to be fast on a lead-run to pull away from the chasing car). BUT why would it not be motorsport ? I mean there are race-cars involved (take Formula D for example... big budget race-car builds) and they are competing against each other... . Just because it's not actual racing still makes it a motorsport.

And why would you even think drifters make a living out of being lazy...
You think they just got in their rwd cars some day and started doing this ?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uhWaNodOAk

You talk about it like there is no skill or practice involved in it at all.
Have you ever tried drifting in real life ?

Oh yeah for everyone else that likes touge and drift add me: psn-id: nam0r89
