If so, how are the cars and the team racing mode ?
This seems like a demolition derby if you ask me. :lol:
 
I've downloaded it for PC, but I wont get to play it until I get home in a couple of hours.

EDIT: Had a play with it now, haven't tried the team racing thing, but the new cars are alright. The muscle cars are pretty stable, I was expecting something harder to drive like the muscle cars in most other games. However this is going straight from patch 1.01 to the DLC and 1.02 so I'm not sure how they compare to the other cars in the game which I haven't tried on the new physics. The "speed blur" and overbaked HDR is back because I had to delete the mods which I was using to remove them.

Today is the December 3rd and there is still no DLC for ps3, anyone explain to me why is that so???

Because it probably will come out with the PSN update which doesn't come out till later in the day.
 
I downloaded it from my ''UK'' account and it doesn't work. I guess I'll have to wait until it'll be release on the North American Store.
 
I've downloaded the DLC from the UK PSN and I found the extra cars in my garage. The Toyota engine sounds great. I haven't tried the other cars.
 
I downloaded the DLC for my PS3 (UK PSN) and at first I didn't think it worked, the cars were not in the car lot to purchase or in the garage. However, they were available online as stock cars, and the team match was there. I was thinking the worst that they were all stock, only available online and you couldn't upgrade or advance tune them.....

Anyway, 'after' racing a stock new DLC car (in the team match online) all 5 suddenly appeared in my garage, and could be tuned. So if its not working, try this.

I've since bought and tuned the Supra, its max is about 12.7 and under 500bhp so its a bit disapointing its not the extreme potential of the real cars or at least be competitive at 14, better to restrict it to 10 then. After some advanced tuning, she drifts at speed very well and its a pretty decent car to drive, still floaty, and mine still requires alot more fiddling but I'm glad its in the game. The Dodge cars and Stingray I've yet to try.

And the Team Match?..........as expected (maybe we should have the word 'death' in there!).....without penalties it's a complete punt fest with drivers ramming me, and, I wasn't expecting this but even racers on SAME side as me blocking my overtakes!!! AND racers leave the game during the race which puts the whole 'team' score out of the window with unreven sides......complete waste of time if you ask me.

Hmm, i've installed it twice now and nothing seems to be showing up in either the online modes or the garage/quick race. Would me having an Asian copy matter?
 
Nothing here in the US yet for me. Bought the game & the PS3 at the same store, at the same time, so I'll be quite upset if they don't match. :D

The patch was a day late here as well, so I hope to see the new cars sometime today.

Well I guess we can get a week of Shift in before the GT5 Demo comes out the week after the 10th on the 17th of December!
 
Well, I did some more research into my Asian copy of Shift. It's not out on the Asian stores and the EA staff are unsure when it will be. Apparently EA Asia have to do...something. Link in case other people are in the same situation as me.

Suck. I would have played this until the GT5 demo came out. Oh well, back to FC and GT5P to practise for GT Academy I guess.
 
Has anybody in the US tried out the DLC yet or is it still not available?

I haven't, but I do wish the AI is fixed. It really is a 🤬 demolition derby!!! :banghead:.

It's almost better to go online in a public room and race than deal with the AI :dopey:.

We should be more careful when whe ask for AIs that "notice" the player. Because the one in NFS:S notices it...just to wreck him of track.

I'm proud of being a Precision racer :sly:. Although, I've had to punt some AI butts of the track when they dont cooperate with clean racing...
 
Does anyone know if it's been delayed?

I just downloaded the DLC from the PS3 Store, it's not on top of the list so you'll have to look for it.
