Anyone else going to miss out on their birthday car because of the PSN outage

Hi all,

Does anyone know if GT5 'remembers' your birthday after it has passed so you receive your birthday car? What with PSN being down, my date has passed (along with a few others I bet!)

Failing that does anyone know if there is a list of cars out there ordered by year rather than manufacturer so I can see what cars GT5 has from my birth year?

...or would Jordan be able to message Kaz to see if PD could re-send the date check so when the network comes back on, and we launch GT5, every date from the time the network went down to the date it's back up, we all get our gift cars?
 
You won't get one, but you can create a second account with the current date and your birth year (whenever PSN comes back up) and get your birthday car.

If you go to mygrandturismo.com you should be able to sort by year.

No, I don't think Jordan can talk to Kaz to make that happen.

Guess I could just wait and 'buy' one of my '74 cars to make up for missing out on the birthday ticket from the UCD or the OCD if they ever pop up....
 
The reason for me not getting a ticket wasn't due to the PSN being down... I just genuinley forgot :(

I was a '92, so theres a few decent cars in there.
 
My birthday is this saturday (May 7th), so im hoping it will be back up :D
I'm sure it will though, people are saying it back tomorrow but tbh i dont think so

I'm a '94 so does anyone know what type of car i would get??
 
Mine passed on the 1st of May. I sure hope that PD will go back through all the days that the network was down and gift birthday tickets to those who missed out. That would be super stellar on their part!

i agree it would be a nice touch, but i wouldn't hold your breath. I look forward to being wrong though!
 
I think I'm safe with July 29th :D

Shame about the cars released in the birth year. I'm hoping for a R390 race or road car, but I'll probably screw up and get a Midget :grumpy:
 
And my free car is gone ; ;!! It was a nice gesture from PD, too bad I had to be born the month of the PSN being hacked.
 
It's really frustrating for honest people like me, who actually did not create fake accounts to cheat. My bday is also in a few weeks, so I hope PSN is back by then...
 
My Birthday is next week!! I seriously hope it is back up.

Last week I thought SURELY it would be up in plenty of time for the 8th, but it looks like I'm getting screwed out of my b-day car after all. Guess I'll have to create a fake one to make up for it. 👎
 
If PSN is not up by December 23rd then I will miss my '89 car lol.

My birthday was April 18th, but I couldn't get on because I was in Orlando and couldn't claim my ticket :(

No one sent me anything either :(
