When i got my copy of GT5 a few months back the first car that i really wanted was the Bugatti!! Its just a car that im sure all motor enthusiasts would want to own if they could plus it looks off the hook :p

Luckily one popped up in my UCD early on in the game and bought it for 2 million with silver chrome paint job which was a bonus :)

Only downside is the cars not even a premium model.

on a normal track at the same PP the Veyron will lose to A LOT of other cars, what it has in acceleration and straight-line speed doesn't make up for it's poor handling

Welcome to november 2010.

I don't understand the point of these threads. I'm sure you will get your PSN account suspended for tuning a car. You should sell that Bugatti and get a stock one.

SIGH.
What utter crap.

This thread sparked me to once again try out my Veyron more, as I haven't for quite a while now. Try it at the Nurb again and it took a couple laps to get use to it, but it really is a great car once you are use to it. The Veyron just got cursed in this game for a few key reasons,

1. It was rewarded at a low level event. I personally feel it shouldn't be a Prize Car period. So the "noobs" used it. But aren't we all noobs to begin with? And how many of the people saying it's a noob car used it in their "noob days"?
2. People used it because it is, the fastest road car in the world. I'm sure near everyone wanted to use the Veyron right from the start of GT5 because of that reason alone. But people expected it to be easy to drive, but fast enough to just completely dominate anything else, and that's just not true, it takes practice and skill to drive. For those wanting a fast dominating car, I suggest the Redbull X2010/11.
3. I said it before, Noobs use the Veyron, the Veyron is not a noob car though. Has it occurred to the people who say it's a noob car, that it's the driver not the car? A driver ramming and crashing a Veyron would do the same in, say a Viper or Lamborghini.

The Veyrons one of my 5 favourite cars of all time, let alone in the game. Can't help but tune this beaut up though, with that much power on tap, there's no excuse really. Most of us have done it (and regretted it. Really wish I'd kept my first 1 stock :/)
